Is it just me or priest has been one of the underdogs for years now ? I literally never see one.

They get perpetually complained about well before they ever get to >50% WR, though they do still manage to have some presence in control metas. I’m not sure they’ve ever been the #1 deck in any meta (in standard or wild) though.
They were with raza-priest. The only three decks mentionworthy during that meta was
- Raza priest
- Cubelock
- Dragon priest
Before the FOL mini-set Priest was the Tier S deck.
I remember going 30-2 with Control Priest, and not losing any matchup.
Not only was it “high tier” … it was the best deck in the game hands down.

Yeah this. The meta settled around control, and priest dominated blood DK so hard it wasn’t even funny. I even made a priest deck, and god knows such a thing is expensive for a f2p player.

Priest have been better then warrior for years.
They do get teir 1 deck now and then.
Unfortunately by their very nature they tend to be long drawn out wins and add in scam/theif mechanics and everyone gets annoyed if they lose to priests.
ie who cares if 30 minutes from now I might get a win, quit and go qq on the forums.
