When is the Mage fix/nerf?

Really, when to expect a fix? We got that selling of new shiny cards in the shop and all, but when is the correction?

The new expansion comes out in just over 3 weeks. They are not very likely to do any balance changes before that time

Sadly, you might be correct, the waste of 3 weeks with the Mage domination imo is too much.

As opposed to any other class dominating?
let’s not pretend that other classes haven’t had far longer runs at top tier.

High rolls are not fun, too many of them with Mages.

on the next expansion release when renathal event ends the deck gets “nerfed”!

Your complaining about mage still when the meta worst with the rest trash the other classes can do i mean just wow.

BS Mage with Renathal is currently the best and most popular deck in the game

The druid can’t repeat the tsunami spell with 4 cost rogue card. Ther is no need to have 10 at all and that’s the problem - the board + insta damage. They need to make elems hit only minions at least.

If you are at three mana you can’t get the Tsunami out to begin with. I am not exaggerating here. A druid can be at 10 mana with 30+ mana of creatures on board with the opponent at 3 mana on turn 5.

But it’s the mage on top of everything, not druid, so the mana itself is not a problem - it’s a way to high roll with some classes. There are no “normal” games anymore if you try to climb and that is the reason some classes aren’t played at all - they have NO way to highroll or do that very late (useless).

In the patch notes of the last balance patch (where they nerfed Skyla and Surfalopod), the devs stated that they have another patch window between the expansion annoucement and expansion launch.

I stand corrected. I would expect a patch sometime this week or next, and I would expect bsm to be hit again somehow

The only reason mage doing good again is Renathal so once gone mage back bottom of barrel class again. Unless get something good, but my guest that will be called for Nerf to even it lowest tier deck.

The more I read about where Standard is now, the more I realize that Team 5 has perverted this game into something I don’t even recognize.

At this point BSM would probably still be playable with a sizeable nerf to Conman.
