Who is removing them, you dingus?

We have no moderators, other readers are flagging your posts.

You’re not hurting the devs, people here just find you dumb.

I like this expansion!

thing that cause damage to HS is copying decks. When people copy deck they cant value another cards and yell that they dont like something. Standart becomes boring when people play the only 40 cards when they have 300+ cards for each class

I guess I’m referring to folks who play and are also post here regularly, complaining about the game. I’d say those folks are deeply engaged.

Some of us complain because we want the game to be better. While Hearthstone has always had balance issues, it just seems to get worse over time and the dev team seems a lot less concerned with balance or the relative power levels of each class. Just taking a look at the class cards available to each class in Standard should illustrate this pretty well. There are some classes that have stronger cards and/or cards that synergize much better with each other. Then you have those classes whose cards are just a mess of different ideas that don’t mesh together or even seem to actively work against each other. I never understood why Blizzard felt the need to remove direct damage spells from priest when other classes are allowed to do this and do it a LOT better than priest can (just look at current shaman). That seriously limits how priest is allowed to play and pigeon-holes them into being a minion-centric class that has board clears that are usually symmetrical and kill off their own board…counterproductive. People hate playing against priests because of all the copying and “thieving” but guess what? It’s what Blizzard has forced the class to do to survive. Some classes just seem to get everything handed to them on a platter, and this really isn’t good for the health of the game or people’s enjoyment of it. Neither is being able to pop off for 30+ damage on turn 5. I know we shouldn’t really expect much in the way of strategy in Hearthstone anymore, but their focus on the mobile aspects of the game and quick games have really wrecked a lot of what made this game enjoyable. Like many others, these days I tend to play just enough to do my quests on any given day and that’s largely due to not being able to enjoy the shenanigans I see going on. TLDR: I just want the devs to show some actual care for the game’s balance, it’s not really that much to ask is it?

They talk about balance all of the time. They think it is balanced.

You all cry but keep playing and giving money to this trash company…

Found the rogue main.

Lmao. No but seriously, its not like Hunter and Mage etc aren’t also busted. Compare that to the early days of FoL when if you weren’t playing DK you might as well not bother. I did use the word relatively, first two weeks is always a s**tshow. I thought we’d all be a bit more numb to that by now.

The OP is the hearthstone version of Henny Penny.
Big yawn.
Every post predicts the end is nigh.

Whatever, lmao…

What a joke.

Ok. Although much of the complaining isn’t all that constructive. But if you find it cathartic, have at it. But the constant tiresome threads that “this is the worst expansion ever” and “this is the death of Hearthstone” gets… well… tiresome. You don’t like a certain class? Try another class. You don’t like any of the classes? Well, maybe this is no longer the game for you.

I see every class represented in T1 and T2. Some more than others, but every class is represented. There are 21 different decks listed in T1 and T2 on HSReplay in the Gold range. And while I realize Gold isn’t the best set of data, it certainly suggests that there are many, many viable decks with plenty of opportunity for players who enjoy a variety of playstyles.

I’ll further add that the argument that every player should be able to play the class they want, using the archetype they want, and have them all be a T1 deck is absurd.

are you trying to say in a nice way that someone boasting about having 18k+ posts on this forum is actually kind of pathetic?

I honestly think most of you are missing the point. Of course developers are going to try new things, such as hero cards, quest lines, colossals, Titans and up the ante each time. The true nail in the coffin for this game is the botting. I’ve been playing through gold right now and I have faced nothing but bots. Either roping bots, that use their hero power at the end of every rope, or ones that just play standard free decks. Not only is it completely boring to be roped turn after turn but also to play the same pre-made decks time and time again. Ever since the China servers shut down America’s have been flooded with botting and then on top of that Hearthstone had to go in and add in their own bots to make people feel better that had lower MMR. Honestly I think the game would be better without MMR except in the case of battlegrounds. If you’re in bronze, silver or gold you play against someone else in bronze silver or gold. If they beat you because they have an 11 star bonus and you have a three-star bonus then so be it at least you get a challenge, and you learn to get better. That’s just my opinion love it or hate it but I think that’s the main problem.

holy mother of murloc; i think i know what your trying to say…but damn this stuff gives me a headache to decipher

The discussion about the game’s “final nail” has come up occasionally over the past six years. However, the game is still thriving, as indicated by PlayerCounter, there are approximately 160,000 active players at any given time.

They continue to bring us QoL improvements, as well as fresh content.

Most “AAA” developers had it easy the last couple of years. Due to covid, game delays, etc…they rested on their laurels, because there was no competition.

But this year you have Zelda, Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, etc.

Now Blizzard is like a deer caught in the headlights. Diablo IV has disappeared from Twitch, people literally hate the game now. Overwatch 2 is getting review bombed on Steam and I rarely see any of the people I follow play Hearthstone anymore.

Bots are the number one reason this game is in bad shape. I don’t give a rats hind end what your player count numbers are until I see it without including bots. When you have to artificially supplement your player base that is a bad sign. I dont care what the reason is for doing it. The bottom line is the number of real players you have is not enough to sustain your game. Sad that so many people act like these bots are normal and healthy for any game. People are just in denial about how bad this game is getting. Its like people just love spooning up all the garbage coming out of Blizzards rear end for some unknown reason.

Bots may also push players away for the reasons you mentioned. And, well, players play multiplayer games in hopes of playing against other players. I would rather wait in a queue for a few minutes than play against another GrumpyKitten, or what have you.

Do as I do. Uninstall this crap, start doing some physical activity, learn some new language or some programming language, etc. And if you don’t have strnght of will, do the math of how many hours and how much money you spent on this crap, and imagine what that time spent could have improved your life.
