I think this game is doomed to fail at some point without massive changes.

Seems like they implemented the new classes as ā€œmassive changesā€.

It spikes the gameā€™s interest for a little bit, but doesnā€™t work in the long run.

Also they tried with BGs and Mercenaries as additional money sinks

Always taking the game in one direction is a failed strategy imo.
I suspect they are pulling what Fox Studios did when MCU bought them out.
Grabbing all the money they can before the deal goes through, in spite of what it does the the product.

So, community feedback falls on deaf ears. Blizzard has always been tone deaf though.

Itā€™s not 2014 anymore.

Dust system is outdated, and the game price should be going down.

Instead itā€™s going up - 11 classes and many, many decks requiring 10k+ dust.

And itā€™s not just the availability, the game is also incredibly toxic.

The whole situation is just bizarre.

this is total nonsense. Hearthstone may not be what they were in 2017 but they are still by far the most popular digital CCG and its not close.

I think the argument could be made that itā€™s true they are losing players.
This offer is beyond anything I have seen.

Game is fine as it is. People leave because people get bored. I have tried just about every other TCG and autobattler and sorry to say but HS is still the best. Battlegrounds is with fault the best battler out there on the market.

MTG could be a better choice but they insist with having the stupid land mechanic which causes mana screw.

I got a welcome back gift, but I claimed it so fast I didnā€™t even look to see what I was getting other than something for Hearthstone and have 2 decks of 40 card packs waiting to be opened. Not sure what happened to 150, but they obviously changed it.

How do you know? I have been out of the game for about 5 months and I havenā€™t received any emails like welcome back etc, have I not been gone long enough yet? (after some digging I guess not everyone gets this)

I will probably just log in, play for 2 months, spend 4000 gold on classic and some dust, play that mode til I can claim both level 50 legendaries for the two tracks and then uninstall.
