Alright I’ll just get right into the theory I had.
The idea was play a minion that any damage it takes goes to your hero, silas darkmoon it to the enemy, then use wing welding (warlock spell) to do 100 damage for profit.
Someone please tell me this weird idea I had isn’t something that they’re already running into.

Wing Welding will only do as much damage as Ceaseless Expanse currently costs in your hand. The combo would work better with Treachery. It’s an 8 mana combo. With Emperor Thaurissan, you could do the combo on turn 5 or 6. Probably still lethal, but it won’t hit for 100 damage

Ehh 100 damage is unfeasible, but even just 50 damage getting redirected could be the tide turner.
I dunno, I just mentioned wing welding cause I wanted the unreleased Dala-SMASH! Card from story mode to be a thing.
50-100 damages to all minions sounds funny af even if it’s relatively unproductive.
Keep me updated on if any other memeable combos come out of him

not meme but murmur sets his cost to 1 and he kills murmur so he doesn’t die to murmur’s effect

I ain’t got murmur yet but I’ll keep him in mind, Mr Expanse was the first legendary I pulled from this expansion somehow, which was why I’m offering up the first theory that sprung to mind cuz I wanna know how everyone else has used him.

me too, was very pleased as he let me get 5 to 6 wins in 5 Tavern brawls, and I got 3wins in my other 2

i just posted about getting hit for 100 damage from that card in a Wild game when Holy Wrath was played. Ceaseless Expanse was still in his deck.
There was a good bit of deck re-shuffling right before it was played. IDK if it is a high chance for successfully getting it played like that. I guess he had to get it on top of his deck for holy wrath to work.
Big sad moment for those in wild.
Thankfully Wing welding is standard so I can still do my “totally fair” amount of damage to the board.
I feel like Mr Expanse alone is enough to warrant an epilepsy warning, I shudderbloc’d him once and straight flashbanged myself and the opponent.
Also I only recently discovered how busted
Eternal layover is when used in combination with Sargearas, I think I may have stumbled on a solitaire Warlock build in standard…
