With only 2 spells costing 10 manas we need to chance the 1 mana minion it casts a random spell, like after 10 manas return to 1 or something.
Nah, returning to 1 is far too harsh of a nerf. Instead it should start descaling after 10, so after the 10 cost Tendril is played it would then got to 9, 8, 7, etc. cost spells cast before reverting to 1-10 cost again.
Obviously thats not going to happen, too much dev time writing code, but its a far more fair nerf to Tendrils than just starting at 1 after the 10 cost tendril is played.
In this case the easy way is just add 5 or 6 completely trash 10 manas spells it can be played for less in other circunstances just to balance the cards now.
No. I dont condone introducing trash cards to address a problematic card - we pay for those cards, remember? Do you want to buy trash? I have much of it to sell if you do, and you will get it at a good price.
I mean, trash if played at random for the battlecry.
For example, a warlock spell for 10 manas give 4 damage for all minions, cost 1 less for each minion died in this game, something like that.
Just to balance the pool of 10 manas spells, the way is now they become way too strong.
Thats not an issue with 10 cost spells. Its an issue with Tendrils. Dont put a bandaid on a gunshot wound, fix the issue - Tendrils.
How about We just make every class play their own spellls instead of pulling from every class?
The bleed has destroyed any identity classes ever had.
Quit already, as per your promise. You got your 10 year card back, so live up to your word and go out with a bang!
What’s wrong with the idea though?
If we made classes stop poaching spells from each other, the whole tendrils problem largely goes away, right?
Engage in conversation, or ignore me.
Either is adult behavior.
Your remark was not.
My remark is entirely valid.
Quit the game as you promised.
You have your card back and are still unhappy with the game - your 2 criteria for going out with a bang.
So be a big boy and live up to your word.
Quit the game and leave your big bang leaving thread that will only satisfy you. You will not be happy with the game ever again, that much is clear.
Your remark is completely off topic, and has nothing to do with tendrils only pulling 2 ten cost spells.
Grow up.
You surrendered your right to calling anyone out on off topic posts YEARS ago.
Its you that needs to grow up.
Apparently youre older than me, yet my 15 year old shows more maturity than you do.
I’m following the rules, and you are breaking them.
And what makes you think that if I quit, I would leave forums?
I never promised that. And I owe you? nothing.
So; answer the question. What if classes could no longer use spells from each other?
Would that not solve the problem just as effectively?
No, the #troll is you. Do not EVER derail ANY thread in the future, if you expect me to follow those rules. Keep 100% on topic in each and every post you make. Do NOT make every thread you post in about mage.
Thank you for the hall monitor duty, and the public service announcement.
Are you going to return to subject now, or do you have a political endorsement as well?
Would forbidding classes to use spells from each other fix the problem or not?
I agree with this.
We have tri-class cards and dual class cards and let’s make that mean something.
How would that work, were you the designer?
IIRC, tri-class cards were introduced early in the game. Classes which shared some lore in warcraft were binded by that concept and had access to unique cards based on that, a pool of cards which they shared.
Later on, same thing was done with dual classes. I would just stick to that categorization.
for example, Mage and warlock share Chaos creation - this is an example of a dual class card. That means that only those two classes can pull Chaos Creation from any discover or RNG in general.
I forgot examples of tri-class cards, but the same could work for them.
Since Sunset Volley is class-specific to Mage, it should only be activated by Mage RNG, noone else’s.
If that creates some other problem in the game, like too low pool of 10-mana spells (like it’s possible that it gets any lower than it already is, lol), then just add some more.
And for crying out loud, make it possible to play them before turn 10. The game’s already broken as it is. It should NOT be possible to do mana cheats which warlock and pally do currently. If they can do it, so should other classes.
When it rains, it pours.
I like your ideas. Any chance of you joining Team 5?
By the way, Mage is the ONLY class which can’t discover other classes’ weapons.
Just sayin’
I’m so sick of playing Discover a weapon cards on mage to only get offered one, with 0 attack.
Quite inconsistent.
