Velen that doesn’t die?

Why complain about a card that can easily be dealt with by one simple silence or removal option? Why do people pretend it’s impossible to counter?

Similar to scrapyard colossus being cheated out early then resurrected or reborn how is Velen any different. It’s meant to throw a wrench in your gameplan if you have no means to deal with it. This game is all about adapting to new strategies, not crying for nerfs everytime a card gives you difficulties.

Because it’s impossible to remove it with unlimited damage and poisonous. Half the decks in the game do not have hard/direct removals and the rest of the decks may lowroll the draws. This is part of the long history of Wild having decks that have win conditions that become apparent too early and are broken like that.

I blame the Devs, because they don’t care to balance Wild or have the skill to design it well.

It’s a wild interaction and there are a plethora of ways to deal with it. My Velen gets countered in about 75% of games I play. At this point I play for the memes knowing my opponent will waste a silence or removal option that they should have saved for later in the game. It’s a great bait card.

You blame the devs for everything. You probably blame the devs just for letting wild exist. Wild would not be wild if they nerfed everything you have a problem with. If I were you I’d stick to standard. Seems more up your alley.

They design the game. I often get misunderstood that I blame Wild players. Wild would be great for me if the Devs weren’t bad at it.

Eg I don’t believe infinite-Velen is intentional design. They never design cards for Wild so why would they start now?

my favourite card for deathratles is deathwarden i drop it to kill velen without it triggering

and the opponent has to remove it before attempting to summon it again or ill just run over velen again!

also useful to counter the boar decks

Don’t play wild if you don’t appreciate the gamemode for what it is. Any card can be played which means expect to see combos and interactions you don’t see in standard.

They won’t nerf something that can be easily countered with a single silence or removal option. There are far worse combos in wild that get no attention. Like a Paladin using a spell to generate minions from their deck which can use their hero power to spawn multiple horsemen and automatically win the game. Or a druid that can mana ramp double the mana of their opponent then discount all their minions to zero mana. Wild is wild for a reason.

I don’t. I don’t need your permission to have an opinion. Devs suck at balancing it.

If you dont play wild. Then why are you in this discussion? Why are you in any discussion on the subject? What value does your opinion have?

& its funny cause they just did this to the zergling which now makes the zergling just bad if the spawn had at least rush it would work but its just summon specially a 1/1 zergling

Because I would play it, if the Devs didn’t suck at balancing it. I don’t need your permission to speak.
