"Unexpected results" in the solo adventure

Hello,

Got a weird thing during my solo adventure today.
I had a lot of spell damage (Velen + Cosmic Anomaly). “Unexpected results” displayed “Summon two 8-cost minions”… however when i played it, it summoned 2 4-mana minions.

Okay. This is most likely a bug with the display. Velen itself has no spell damage, and is meant to double the damage/healing of spells and hero power. However, what most likely happened, was the spell card displayed incorrectly, and because Unexpected Results isn’t a damage-dealing card, it recieved two 4-cost minions.

It is, however, unexpected.

This issue was supposedly fixed back in 12.2. Sounds like it was either unintentionally reverted, or never fixed to begin with.

That is correct, it was fixed back in 12.2 and we had some extensive rework done since then. I confirmed that Unexpected Results will change its text when Velen is present, the text should only be affect by spell damage and not Velen.
