Game loads up, click login and it’s just sits on the screen with the blue logo.
Have tried to restart delete game and clear files and cash and nothing works

Temp fixed by changing preferred network type from 5g 4g 3g and 2g to 4 3 and 2
I got a oneplus 8 pro today too and can not Connect with the Same Error as First Post. there seems to be a Problem with oneplus smarthphones. I use WLAN and not LTE.
OnePlus 8 pro unpacked today, all games running except for Hearthstone which sits at the tavern doors with 0 downloaded and notification set at “initializing” which then stays like that forever.
This is on mobile or various WiFi networks, account still works on PC and other phones; have tried clearing cache and data and reinstalling.
What’s going on here?
Edit: well I did nothing else to it and it just decided to work properly on a later try, several hours later. No idea why it was the only device I had that wouldn’t play nicely. Good luck to everyone else
Same problem for me - I am on EU - Vodafone - tried both Wifi+LTE on Samsung Galaxy S9+ (Android 10) can’t get past the update screen download just never starts tried everything.

Unable to connect using WIFI or Mobile network. Have also tried the APN trick mentioned in the T-Mobile/Sprint thread, as well as using VPN - all did not work.
I’m forever stuck in the Tavern Gate screen despite deleting storage data, clearing cache, and uninstalling.
Found out that the bug is when I select login by Google. After the latest update, the UI to select a different login method is presented again. I chose FB this time and had no problems logging in. Still, it’s a bug that Google connect doesn’t work, and there is no way to choose a different login option despite reinstalling and cache clear. I guess I got lucky that the new major patch forced the new sign in.
