Unable to add friends mobile/iPad

I managed to add a friend a couple of months ago. Now when I try I get no response nor a “Friend request sent” message. If I type in a random (fake) battletag then it tells me a request is sent. If I enter a real battletag i get no message, the keyboard just collapses.

No, I am not blocked and I do not have 200 friends added. This is on an iPad. Thanks.

I don’t know how to make my own post, just reply to someone else. Anyway, I don’t currently have any friends who play hearthstone but I wanted to add a teammate as a friend from battlegrounds so I could play with them again or on another game platform but the add a friend feature only shows opponents. Can you please fix this?
