I finally got around to playing some DH today and those calling the class dead are So Wrong. Lmao!!! Tore through every class I played against (though I did not see any warlocks or mage) and I’m not even playing a refined deck, I just threw all the low cost cards in along w/ priestess, S.o.G and the dragon.
Remove or rework twin slice and maybe DH could be dead.
Right now this card alone alone allows DH to constantly clear a full board for free.
2 day nerfs. Talk about an overreaction. Let the meta settle first.
ppl cant handle that, their decks from last season need to act the same way it did last season even though cards were rotated out and a new class is out, its not fair to make them have to think
LOL No. It was popular, sure. But generally, in games like this, new stuff will always be popular for the first week or 2. People want to try and play with new stuff.
DH started off weak. And nerfing it hurts it even more.
The biggest problem, is DH doesn’t have enough cards. About the only good thing going for it is tempo, but it lacks everything else.
it has no direct kill capabilities like every other class has, it only has damage and tempo/aggro so it can never be a control class and then they nerf the things needed to be able clear what boards they can clear
And that is why you wait a month or so to put money into this game. Don’t be salty learn from your mistakes and play some other new decks.
Simple I know.
lol only salty ppl were ppl using old meta complaining about how op the new class was when it wasnt
tbf it is still powerful, it just happen everyone is playing hate decks against it
why so much hate I wonder, is a cheap class to play lol
more like they got what they wanted and now the class got hit so hard its much slower and has no late game so is easy to beat now
except that is completely untrue, it is still the best and most played class in the game and the most popular variant of the deck only has 1 bad matchup at high levels of play
check again its nowhere near the best several classes have higher win rate then all of the dh classes and most of the nerfed cards were hit so hard they arent even played at all anymore
Only after the nerfs. If not for the nerfs its win rate would still be top of T1. You keep ignoring that fact.
no it wouldnt ppl were already figuring out counters b4 the nerfs the nerfs only killed certain cards, the idea behind dh was already figured out the thing u sad noobs havent figured out even till now since u only ever play 1 deck
I just think they overnerfed as always -aldrachi was fine and antaen should had been changed to 8/6 deal 8 but stay at 5mana
Thats a different discussion. But they did imply that nerf reversals/buffs were not out of the equation depending on the classes performance over the next few weeks, so there is hope.
I have hsr premium and I am looking at stats for higher ranks and post nerf data only.
If you look at only class winrate you aren’t getting a very clear picture of what’s going on.
Dh makes up roughly 1/3 of the meta at high ranks and another 1/3 to 1/2 are decks designed to beat it.
Despite that only galakrond warlock is able to maintain an edge vs tempo demon Hunter.
There will be more dh nerfs needed for an actual meta to be able to form.
Bear in mind all this data is from higher ranks (diamond+), and I have no idea what’s going on below that.
I just think galakrond warlock and spell druid are the decks to nerf…
DH, biggest sack of monkey poop deck ever created and unleashed on the players. Blizz’ should be ashamed of themselves.
that would have made more sense then the complete change of where it was in the deck at 6 mana
