I am SO grateful that she is coming back, it feels amazing!! Hopefully, Khadgar will make a comeback too 
he was even released before Tyrande and even made available in many countries in Asia after… maybe he will with the redesign of the shop and rotation of the current heroes, but for now I’m thankful that they’re bringing back Tyrande 
seemed like it was impossible!

Well in Asia (atleast China or japan i think) Hearthstone isnt directly under blizzard but I belive Netease so they can do stuff like rerelease heroes/cardsack and other regardless of status of rest of world,same for exra apps/features.
So while i want khadgar to come back aswell(though wouldnt use him myself),being rereleased in asia doesnt mean much 
Also has anyone made a Khadgar thread yet? or for other portaits like preorder/bundle ones?
A lot of people want Khadgar and the other heroes to come back, but I don’t think they ever will. Tyrande was a special case where some people never got a chance to have her, even if they were playing Hearthstone at the time.
Actually, Khadgar could come back because he was iOS exclusive, so people without iPhones couldn’t get him. But as far as I’m concerned, the preorder heroes are off the table. Everyone had a chance to buy them, and it wouldn’t be fair to lock them behind an $80 paywall only to sell them for a lesser price later.

I remember being downvoted to oblivion by the hivemind too because of it… now Tyrande is back how did that work out for you naysayers?

I think you being downvoted was more of a “one thing at a time” kinda thing. Now that Tyrande is back I think the next logical step would be to bring back Khadgar at some point, since he was also semi-locked to people with iPhones only.
But yeah, it’s nice having Blizzard finally acknowledge us by bringing Tyrande back after all this time. It’s good to finally have everything worked out. Now it’ll just be another 3 years until we can get Khadgar back /s. Really tho, I’m grateful.

Back in the old forum, the CM remarked that heroes like Maiev (and presumably Lunara and Khadgar) will probably make a comeback at certain time periods.
“We’re also hoping to bring back some of the ones we’ve featured in the past to give a wider audience a chance to get them…We’ve always got something in the works, but for various reasons it does take time to get them out into the game.”

This quote was said before the Boomsday Project, though. I doubt that they will ever release the bundle exclusive portraits.
Nonetheless it’d be great if they can make the aforementioned portraits available to players. It will almost certainly be benefitial to them and us. I have all three heroes and I couldn’t care less if they want to rerelease them.
A long term change, as I’ve said in the past, is that instead of making certain heroes time exclusive, they should let people unlock heroes by doing quests, achievements and challenges like adventures. I’d be happily grinding over some of the heroes instead of just simply playing the game during certain time intervals.
One final remark: The thread officially ends on December 10th, 2019, and so does our 1166 days of long waiting. (Damn, Karazhan still feels like yesterday)

I agree that Khadgar and the free heroes that were given out at the start of the years should return, but the bundle ones are out of the question. People paid too much money for them to return for a much lower price

Tomorrow is Tyrande’s return I’m still betting on the fashion cover-up although.
And if that happens I will be very offended! 
im still bothered we dint get the dalaran heist characters are portaits,same for rumble run.
they all had portait,all had all voicelines for all languages(except mirror emote but that isnt to much work to add compared to what has been done already) theyre all perfectly addable as portaits but nope.
and i feel if they add its most lily only going to be 1 of bunch and if wanted others to bad.
Also id love a bunch of bosses from dalaran heist /dungeon run to be portaits.
Like anarri duskgrove for druid(different enough from elise) or lyris the wildmage as a mage porait(and we’d get first elf mage portait when blood elves are like the magic race together with Nightborne)

To be fair, the hero looks amazing. Probably the best hero out there ever!
