Why didn’t all classes get this incredibly broken mechanic?
Because the classes that didn’t got Schemes.

I didn’t experieced that honestly , this card has been mvp vs token druids and Conjurer’s mages for me. Used it in a big shaman (muckporpher) list.
I may have to experiment with it a bit more but for me its way too slow if you only put 1 in your deck… and if you put 2 you NEVER used or need the 2nd one. Also I hate how it effects YOUR units too… for a card with such a passive feature it would be nice if it only effected enemy minions.

Which is exactly why you play it in slow decks, it balances out and can be awesome if you manage your hand right.
Most of the schemes and twinspells aren’t good. Why did Druid get two btw?
every “good” class received 2 twinspells
Volcano did the same and was good. Hagatha’s scheme may be slower but is more effective in my opinion.
If you really struggle to draw it, just add storm chaser to your deck

Because team 5 retards always give some keywords to some classes…thats really stupid…because in the other expansions they will forget to add more TWINSPELL cards to the other classes…yes…this always happens…same happened to 3 CLASS cards…those cards that let you get class cards from other classes…well…no support there…
team 5 tadsdsdrds always invent new keywords and FORGET the last keywords they made…really stupid move… INSPIRE/JOUST, ADAPT, the list goes on…all those keywords are dead…no support…same for cthun.
Haggatha’s Scheme is the best AOE Shaman ever had. It’s more effective than Lightning Storm, Elemental Destruction, even Maelstrom Portal and Volcano.
I’d go as far as to say it’s the best AOE in the game right now. Sure, it’s bad on the turn you draw it, but on the upside it can deal as much as 5 AOE damage on turn 5, which basically clear any board. And you don’t need it to be that good, 5 mana deal 3 to all is already a card many classes would be happy to play. And I didn’t even mention that it’s one of the few AOE spells that’s really good against control decks that can flood the board later in the game, it can even remove stuff like a full board of minions resurrected by priest, or a full board of 6/6s from Nomi.
You’re severely underestimating the card if you think it’s bad. It’s versatile, cheap, potentially incredibly powerful and it doesn’t even overload you.
And to add to all this; combo it with omega mind and you heal to full as well.
Yeah sadly I was playing against a mage who got 2 Applebalms in under 10 cards off the top. So it was going to go to turn 7 or 8 where mages just just their twinspell(s) or legend and a double up on the OP twin spell and its GG in casual at least.
Got to love a broken mechanic where 28 points of card cost and be added to the board on turn 7. Al the minions are all 6/6s or at least ^+ attack on all of them.
Blizzard epic fails yet again in their game making.
In Control Shaman it is amazing. Remember Storm Chaser can tutor the card easily as you’re probably not running Rain of Toads in Control Shaman right now.
I’m not as “OMG amazing” on scheme, I still liked Volcano a lot more, but it has proven to be decent and I was VERY skeptical on it.
Also @OP the heroes got Twinspells and the villains got Schemes and class lackey enablers. I’d say overall both sides we’re decently balanced. While most of the schemes have proven to be ‘meh’ the lackey enablers have not been bad at all but Priest.

Turn 8 against a Mage. Droppa thee old Khadgar. In my hand guaranteed. Play the Twinspell in my hand Guaranteed. and on turn 8 for a mere 8 cost of mana I have a board of
Khadgar, Elemental Giant, and FIVE 7/8 taunts.
And there it is again. An identical game to earlier. Twinspell of not randomly created minions but specific AI designed here ya go minions.
Turn 5 was Applebaum again and here we are at midgame with the legend and a twin spell.
1 2 3 RNG - the pattern is complete again. In Magic the Gathering they say no two goes are the same but in Hearthstone they say every game is the same.
