Im trying to do the Darius Crowley achivement in standard, but its not very fun to try it.
All opponents cant see the forest for the trees…
EVERYONE is to fixated to win win win that they cant even see signs of my plays or the deck
to even grasp the concept of an achievement.
I only clear their minons i dont attack face etc etc.
But everyone seems to dont even have half a brain to understand anything.
Its tough to try stuff… sigh…
Ranked rewards players for winning and punishes them for losing, so of course the vast majority focuses on winning as much as possible.
As a general rule you should not expect your opponent to care about your hunt for achievements.
It’s called “achievement”, not “playground”.
If it was something trivial, it would be pointless.
My suggestion is: if you don’t like the challenge, don’t do achievements; their only purpose is to challange yourself to obtain them.
when I find someone who does this, I just try to end the game as fast as I can.
You don’t care about my goal (playing a game), why would I care about your mission?
If the opponent tries to do the achievement while staying alive, I don’t have any problem; but if I can win because they did nothing, it’s not my fault
Ranked rewards are already gotten for most of my opponents since im in legend rank already.
And i do like an challenge, but the mentality in hearthstone seems to be that players only think of themself and dont “help” each other out.
I try and grind for most achivements because i like them, but when most players dont even seem to know they exist even if some give exp its a handfull to do them.
So by your “friendly” advice im gonna crush all opponents from now on to have a better chance to get the achievement done, ok im gonna do that now thx.
this is how any competitive game works.
Do you remember conceding while climbing, because your opponent maybe wasn’t as good as you?
My guess is most people in legend still like to win; I never got legend by winning because my opponent conceded, but I had to fight for the stars.
you are welcome! This is exactly waht you should do.
Build a strong warrior deck, put in it the cards you need to do the achievement and if you are winning, stall the game till you can do it; or if you feel you can’t do it, just win.
You are the one who shall earn the achievement, not your opponent by letting you do what you want
they allow you to help them rank up

Play wild in rank chicken 10, it is More easy to do, if You play in legend all players try to enter top 500
Do you also consistently play wild?
I do not and my mmr there is complete dumpster level because I go do my achieves there and don’t actually try to win.

Im top 200 legend in wild.
Standard is my mmr garbage mode.
Must wait until reset next season, and try to complete all You can, if You Will win surrender and go next, once You complete all go to leyend again
do you not have friends you can talk to about your goal, and then play?
or two accounts on two devices, and play yourself? that’s how you can ALWAYS win.
Achivements cant be done against friends, unless you get really lucky and face them in ladder games. Challenges doesnt work for achievements.
i literally have no idea what any of the achievements are. it’s always a surprise when i get one of those messages while i’m playing
