Toggling multiple favorite coins?

I see we can now Toggle Favorite on multiple card backs. I’ve now toggled favorite on on all 125 card backs that I own, so that anyone who plays me hopefully gets a varied experience seeing a card back they probably don’t recognise. (‘Ah, August 2017? I remember it well’)

At least, I hope they will see varing card backs; no idea if it even works, because I’m not the other player, and I can’t easily check, because I don’t play Hearthstone with anyone in person, because my friends all have lives.

But why can’t we also toggle favorites on multiple. coins, so that I start the game (playing second) with a random coin, picked from the seven or so coins that I own, assuring me that the toggling works, because I can see the coin? selecting a single coin is so outdated now that we have Newfangled Toggle Technology.

I’d also like to see ‘use same card back as opponent’/'use same cad deck as previous opponent ’ options. It’s the only way I’ll ever be mistaken for Legend rank.

lol that’s a lot of effort on the cardbacks when you could have just set your deck’s cardback setting to ‘random’ instead of toggling literally every cardback.

That aside, I do think it would be cool to have multiple favorite coins too.

I can’t agree with a ‘use same card back as opponent.’ Some card backs are meant to be proud achievements that you can show off to let others know the great feats you have accomplished, like gaining legend or beating some adventures on heroic mode. Having this setting would somewhat diminish that.

Wait, there’s a random cardback setting, which would have save me 125 toggle presses and fifteen swipes? I don’s see it in iiOS; you’d think the random card would be the first card.

but toggling is far more fine-grained selective, if there’s any reason you want to leave out a certain cardback, or just showcase the really prestigious ones or ones that match your hero’s aesthetic.

We do need random coins, ideally through toggling. So, again, the set of chosen coins matches the aesthetic.

I wouldn’t pair THAT coin with THAT cardback…

Hm, yep. When you set the cardback for a deck, it first is blank, and you can pick a specific cardback or, check the ‘favorites only’ checkbox. If you leave it blank, it will use any random cardback you own. If you toggle ‘favorites only’ then it only uses the ones you favorited.

Since that’s the new process, that’s why they removed the ‘random’ as a ‘cardback’ in the actual cardback collection. Instead it’s tied to the ‘favorites only’ checkbox.

aha! I had’t realised you could now set cardback or hero for an individual deck by selecting the deck in collection manager, then selecting the card or hero tab to set them

That must be (relatively) new.

It… is not. lol It’s been that way for years as far as I can tell.

yup, as I said, relatively new…

I have 125 card backs - either I’ve been playing too long, or I spend all my gold on cardbacks now you can buy them. Which is relatively new…

I started Hearthstone at around uhh Knights of the Frozen Throne, so yeah there’s a lot of time before that where I don’t know how it was like.

This is what I have done, to tell if its working ,every time I open a deck I see a different back.
