I dropped the game I was tired waiting for the fight to start, seriously do they test anything before releasing ??? waiting 4 / 5min is insane.

Yes - I am shocked at how long the timers are. 90% of the game is just waiting now.

Its way too long in general. No one needs 50 seconds to buy a few minions.
Its 199s for me today. Its felt fine all week, its only suddenly different now. Like I am currently in a match and the queue is so long that I’m on the forums to pass the 2 minute+ wait.
50s isn’t long enough for APM builds in the late game, but 2-3min in the first 10 turns is madness.
edit: apparently its only in duos.

When last I played, the pain was real. I remember taking a turn in a couple of seconds, waiting a while, wondering why the next turn hadn’t started, then looking over to find 186 seconds remaining on the clock. It’s just not possible to enjoy the game, sitting there, starting blankly at the screen for over three minutes.
I think you really need to be mainly doing something else, playing Battlegrounds as just a side activity, giving it your attention once in a while.
I watch youtube or trawl through whatcouldgowrong on reddit.
PLEASE BLIZZARD READ THIS POST after turn 8 I want to quit the game Waiting 1.5-2 minutes after taking all my actions is not peak gameplay.
Duos timer is way too long now. Can it be shortened again please?

Totally agree, the time is absurdly long now, please Blizzard, change it.

This is just madness. Game time has doubled since the update which makes me wanna quit. Please bring back the old timer.
The best solution is to implement finish/ready button once done…aside from having timer. Also there should be option to control your teammate’s hero and gold/buy in case he leaves/disconnects …
What can we do to lower the times. I dont want to play duos with my cousin because of this
I agree. The duo’s timer in the later turns is way too long. I was seing 200+s! Could we get a decrease in an upcoming patch please?
