I don’t know how anyone defends this card. I’ve seen people say “just play aggro” but that’s the dumbest thing ever. If you play any variant of control you’re getting milled 2 or 3 times and you just lose the game, with no counter play whatsoever. Even if what I’m saying isn’t true and it isn’t busted, it’s still one of the worst designed cards I’ve ever seen. How does anyone think that an effect like this is fun and healthy for the game?

I’ve beat Tickatus in a control warrior. Yes, it’s annoying as hell but as long as you’re able to keep clearing their board they’ll run out of gas eventually. Good luck out there!

This card would be fine without combination with felosophy and ja’sharaj.Now it’s broken.

but there is a counterplay,just rat the Tickatus,this way even Yshaaraj wont bring him back again

besides twisting nether when there is a small board
is there any other sub optimal play which can tell you it was done to corrupt tickatus?
any Warlock or Neutral creature costing 7+ would do it…sub-optimal? depends on what was played.
Once they cast anything above 7 mana will corrupt it. I play Tickatus warlock (please don’t hurt me lol) the best thing you can do is load the board ASAP and apply pressure. There have been games where my opponent flat out does not let me resolve my tickatus because doing so would mean I die to the board. yes, warlock will remove your stuff you just have to reload it. I have lost games were I tried to jam my tickitus on the board but eventually died to board pressure.

It’s only really good agains control, weak agains agro or mid. But thank god at least warlock will keep the control decks in check insted of wasteing my life away with 1 hour matchs. It was a much needed card i think. And the most fun card in the expansion
But sadly after few weeks no one will play it becasue it’s not Paladin DH or Hunter…

If your best turn 7 is playing an 8/8 with no taunt or anything, be prepared to get smoked by seven 8/8 clowns.
Having 5 cards burned isn’t a big deal, I’ve beaten lots of Warlocks after having 5 burnt cards
When they pop off and burn 10, 15 or 20 cards it just disgusting. But it’s not often so it won’t be a problem

Warlock run twisted nether x2 , kel’idan and his new corrupt card that destroy 3 card for 4 . So, no , clown aren’t scary.

its most likely its going get nerf soon. I can see it to 8 mana cost and only remove 3 top cards from either decks.
