They do…if they were active on any web forum in the 80s/90s era.
lol 80s era web forums? ok like what BBSes or something? on some old apple computer or ms-dos pc?
I think Usenet was already popular, which was later in the 90s the biggest system of “forums” that had a culture similar to this forum’s on how they were interacting.
But the internet in general was mostly computer nerds up to the late 90s at least; no elderly or babies; very few completely uneducated etc.

i looked it up and you’re right usenet began in the 80’s before the world wide web was available in 1990. i forgot that.
