did master duel finally drop the need to unlock card sets for a limited time in order to get cards you want ?
is the one thing i always hated about it

for those who dont know is as if blizzard removed all expansion packs and left standard packs as the only option and if you needed cards from pip you had to pull a pip legendary to be able unlock the pip packs for a limited time and these "standard packs " have thousands of cards…

dead games can still have consistent playerbases to a point where queue times are bearable, but that doesn’t change their dead status.

lmao I’m not struggling in HS, this is literal outlook regardless of skill or winning/losing

which game on steam gets expansions regularly and its dead ? i seriously doubt a game will keep getting content without getting money out of it

It’s doubly frustrating because while on one hand it’s “For the Whales” because the top decks are so legendary intensive, but on the same token hardly any of the top decks right now run many (or any!) cards from the new set. Which is crazy to me.

It’s easy to say the game is dead when you have your very own definition of the word “dead”.

Uhm, call me stupid if you like, but I am little bit confused here. You are telling that game has healthy player base, recieves regular updates, has on-going and planned in-game events, has tounaments, but it still is… uhm… dead?
Can you tell me what´s your definition of dead game please?

Stupid design is part of the charm. -Because- it’s a card game made for computer it can have all that fun random stuff.

I don’t know if this game is dead, but unwelcoming for returning players? Certainly.

I came back only for the anniversary, not playing since… three, four expansion? I don’t remember.

I have to say that i suffer in free mode against players with cards from these expansions.
And Reno regardless if he is a card or a hero is still a plague even after all this time.
Seriously i feel that playing him is like cheating.

I don’t intend to spend any money and i am not pleased with the changes regarding the quests.
If i have to add something else, i despise the signature cards packs with a passion.
I remember the Genn Greymane’s one, it was too costly for what it is despite Greymane being one of my favorite characters.
I though that one day, i will try my luck with the regulars packs.

Unfortunatly, i learned today that this card (like any legendary) was only available on shop.
Needless to say that i was angry and convinced me to never again spend any money in Hearthstone.

Why am i telling all of this?
Just to highlight why the game can be repulsive for a returning player - or maybe new players.
If people still have fun with HS, good for them.

I don’t play much anymore.
Every time I give it a try, I run into a new I WIN card.
Just decided to play a game and the other player played a new I WIN card, I never have seen before.
Endless portal that is impossible to beat.
They get endless cards and cover the board endless with cards that do 20 damage with 20 health and the cards only cost them 3.
I am sure many people will spend big money to get this I WIN card though so the whales will keep the game afloat.

The game is nothing about being A whale.Unbalanced class cards ruin the game.quasar rogue,boom warrior etc.I can understand to deal with some powerful cards but not the whole deck.
