This core rotation thing is ridiculous

I don’t care what business philosophy is this or what new player rationale is behind it, it just doesn’t make sense that i need to Sherlock Holmes my own collection to fingers crossed find what i actually have and what is in current core set.

If i go to crafting and uncheck “uncraftable” i don’t see my diamonds or gold cards i got from expansions and track rewards.

Make new category in crafting that will include or exclude whole core set and nothing but core set from collection search.

Better yet, make a button so that every player can just completely opt out from this core cards weirdness and only have his own collection and nothing but that.
Technology is there.

Lmao, Murloc Holmes

I do wish they just went back to what worked the first several years of Hearthstone. Never had a problem searching and knowing my collection then. Then again, I got REALLY CONFUSED when they added more deck slots.

I agree, some of these cards should NEVER EVER be back in the game.

Core rotation is fine but it should really be better communicated in game and they should be more clearly marked in your collection.

i agree. the broken core rotation is going to lose them more long-time players than they gain by ‘loaning’ out free cards. and by loaning, i mean stealing the ones we already had bought/crafted.

is there a petition i can sign calling for an end to the broken core stuff? i don’t even play standard, just wild. i lost cards last year and this year that i had before they were made core and didn’t have after.

or at least, rather than making an existing card core, they could make up a version of the card that has ‘core’ in the title and a different graphic so that their ai programs don’t lose our pre-existing cards when core rotates.

They’re not stealing anything you crafted or bought.

If a card you previously crafted entered rotation, and then left the rotation, you can still find the cards under “Wild sets” → original expansion when the card first came out.

For example, if you’re looking for “Corpse bride” original crafted version, you can find it under “Wild sets” → Path of Arthas.

Just go to the set the card belongs to.

For example, i don’t own Tess, but she is in the core set.
So if i go to the core set tab, i see her and can use her in any deck, but if i go to the witchwood set tab, i don’t see her

How is that more convenient than devs just adding tick box you can check and uncheck only for core cards?

There’s actually a set in the collection manager called “Core”. Click on it to see the Core cards. It’s at the bottom of the Standard sets, and just before the Wild sets. There you go.

I guess I don’t understand your problem; the “Uncraftable” option already can be used to exclude the Core set from your search results.

when core first released , both cards was visible in same page , A x 2 and B x 2 , where A is expansion version and B is core version.
This confused players more , all started to think they get 4 copies of same card , and then started to disenchant the two copies of A , because two copies of B was undustable.
Obviously this will end of not having the original cards on core rotation.

So blizzard started to hide the A cards while B cards where present , to prevent player dusting original cards when core cards are temporary available .

edit: by hide i mean you can still dust original copies , but this will not work on standard/wild default collection filter , you have to take an extra step and select the correct expansion filter to be able to dust the original ones.

“Uncraftable” excludes all other uncraftables as well, diamonds, golden for rewards, everything + core cards

I want to see exact opposite of what you said there about collection manager, ALL CARDS without core cards

I dont want to see core cards, i want them and only them not showing up when i search my collection.
