He literally had no other chance to win the match as I countered him every single time.
Scripted outcome said that a second Yogg must be played and he got the “Cast Pyroblast until one hero die”.
I had 3 minions + my hero vs 1 minion + his hero. 2 of my minions had deathrattle so very slime chances to actually hit my hero, let alone him winning it.
First Pyro hits 1 of my minion ( of course, not a deathrattle one ) .
The next 3 (!!!) Pyro hits my hero …in a row.
There is no way he actually could manage that RNG without the scripted outcome.
I will just leave this here :
The probability of a Hearthstone card hitting the same minion three times in a row, when there are 5 total possible targets, is calculated like this:
…and I am not including the first hit which also hit my minion. So its safe to say that he had like … 0.5% chances to actually win that one. No wait! if he had hit 1 of my deathrattle AND reborn minion ( out of 2 ) who would also summon other minion(s) , the probability for him to win that match would be close to 0%.
Dude, chill out. This game is played by ludomaniacs or those who cannot play good games due to the lack of a good computer. That is, literally either poor or unhealthy people. Which one of them do you want to convince?
I would have to agree with last guy posting to a degree… if it is yourself (1) opponent (2) and 3 of your minions… that is a 1out of 6 chance to hit any of those targets… and pretty sure, that deathrattles/reborn will not go off until after the end of the entire effect. So it’s like a 16% chance to hit first time, if it does lethal, to a minion 25% to hit rest of targets and so on. The thing I agree with you is , put some kind of in game journal to tell you how thing interacts…I should not have some things go off end of turn act a different way than others… or when “random” effects are cast… in what order, or to what targets depending on how long they have been on board, or from left to right, or it rolls to choose… put SOMETHING in game to explain to players the internal mechanics. please and ty.
Game is rigged, since a week in bg duos i only lose like literally 3 of 4th even when ive a really strong board that would normally win. But idk what happened but since last week we only face INSANE opponents with the best trinkets and cards, nothing we can do its insanely rigged and not even 50/50 for me for a week.
You talk about my math, yet your math is pathetic.
Go ahead and do that math again and see the outcome. Or ask chat or whatever. Its 0.8%. I didn’t care to read the rest because you are way out around this .
Let’s say you have a game where a spell hits a random target from a group of 5 targets. If the spell says it “hits a random target 3 times,” and the chance to hit any specific target is 20% each time, then the probability of hitting the same target all 3 times is:
It happens both ways. There were moments where I was like “I should never win this. I can’t win this.” And then …an out of this world RNG happens, with a probability like …0.1% and I win the match. That’s scripted outcome.
I never seem to win today so yea its rigged, every lobby they got 1000 better trinkets and stats no matter how u play. Its since this week its insane. cant even get 1st once and i should get that cuz its rigged 50/50 right
I had happened this to me multiple times in the past, when this was standard. With way lower probabilities than 0.8 %. The crowning moment being my opponent haveing less than 10 life, no minions, I had full board. I died with 3 pyroblasts directly to my face, no minions, no opponent hits.
Actually it is not quite true. I don’t say smth like ‘The game is definitely rigged, I am sure!’, but I say ‘There are some suspicious phenomena in the game’.
And the first on my list of these suspicious phenomena is my incredible luck during the first year of playing. It felt like a trial period or honeymoon. I did not know all cards and mechanics and was able to climb to top-150 once despite of my lack of knowledge.
In my second year of playing my luck disappeared and I was able to repeat the high result of the first year only in my third year of playing, and this time it felt like something very difficult that I can do only with all my knowledge about the game. I still can’t understand how it was possible when I was a newbie. Crazy luck or… rigged?
That’s literally scripted outcome. It happens when your usual win-rate is high above 50% ( their procent of how players must stay under that win-rate ). If you go above that , scripted outcome starts to get in, until to a point when … well … it happens like you said or how it happened to me : You will lose that match no matter what and no matter what mistakes your opponent is doing.
I would love to say crazy luck, but when that “luck” happens at the perfect time, aka when your opponent will win that turn or else he will lose the match next turn , and …he wins it with … 0.8% probability, well, that’s not crazy luck. That’s rigged outcome.
And I am being generous here with 0.8% because I didn’t count the first pyro which also hit one of my minion and not his. So all 4 hits = 1 of my minion and then 3 straight hits in a row directly to my hero.
PS: Just asked chat what’s the probability that 1st hit, out of 6 targets where 4 are mine and 2 of the enemy, hit one of my targets and then the next 3 consecutive hits, are hitting the same target of mine … in a row.
0.308% - this is not crazy luck. This is scripted outcome.
There’s more at work here than rng. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve lost to:
-d00ds with multiple gold minions/legendaries I don’t have (so much for that fair opponent)
-the perfect counter (often multiple times per game)
-the hail Mary (aka ahead 30+ to >5)
Everything about this app is designed to promote spending on packs, because let’s face it, good luck getting that useful epic/legendary
