There is no counter so everyone plays only dragon priest which makes me quit the game.need some nerfs here.
Any fast deck eats Zarimi priest, just don’t focus too much on their minions, focusing on face forces them too either heal or kill your minions, which at least slows down their dragon summoning
YES PLEASE this deck needs a nerf or at least ban the card that gives priest 2 turns in a row… such bs.
Super pro design. So if you want to play the current xpac, you are pigeon holed into play boring as hell 5 turn decks, IF you can get the RNG welfare check. I’d be too ashamed to even play the priest deck because it’s an announcement you have absolutely no skill. They nerfed the DH armor deck but leave these garbage OTK on turn 7 decks…lol
There are always going to be people on this forum that put the onus of bad game design on the player. It’s not their fault for not nerfing this busted deck. It’s yours for not playing a style of deck you’re not interested in
Zarimi priest is unplayable in top-1000 and has a strong counter – Drunk paladin – at all ranks.
I’m interesred in playing murloc mage, let them nerf everything to make murloc mage playable!
No, actually it is yours fault for playing bad since the deck you want to be nerfed is close to having murloc mage’s winrate at high ranks (=vs better players).
Slow decks with armor / extra hp + dirty rats can beat priests too, but a player should think about the correct moments for rats, gaining armor / hp, clearing the board, ppl can’t win using a slow deck and just playing green cards.
Cute thoughts, but just a confirmation that you’re essentially pigeonholed into playing certain decks for a desired outcome. The game should be balanced so you can play a class you like, and play it against any other deck without a predetermined outcome on the match up and without RNG having such a heavy weight. Would also be nice to play a prolonged game of strategy rather than a 5 turn game if RNG is holding your hand.
Strategy is almost a comical idea in this game, as it is utterly meaningless if you get bad draws and the opponent gets the RNG welfare check. The majority of the game is determined by RNG, even if you’re a top ranked player who knows how to play a their deck to the fullest. Don’t draw what you need and they do? You’re done. Top players also are playing hundreds of games, meaning if their deck has a 55% w/r, eventually they will advance all the way, all else being equal. Most people don’t have that kind of time, and are stuck letting the slot machine do the lifting.
But hey, at this point, I’d settle just for this third rate game to stop crashing every 2 games on every platform with a little reminder your game has been recorded.

To be clear, my position is that dragon priest is another solitaire deck that I for one am sick of seeing. It’s like playing the same match over and over and over again every time I see it. And, if I have to play a specific deck or even a specific archetype to compete against it, I’m just going to close the app and find something else to do
I doubt that it is more than just a dream. I can’t remember any period of time when it was possible to play every class.
RNG has an average weight nowadays. The problem of the current meta is rock-paper- scissors. But it has nothing to do with priest, priest is giga dead.
Actually, in this case you also have an option to play better. All meta decks have chances vs priest.
But there were a lot of situations in the past when some decks demanded specific counters, and situations like that were a part of the game and meta development. If you dislike it so much, probably HS is really not a game you need
RNG is 90% of the game. I can play 20 games and it would be a miracle if a single one had anything to do with someone playing well, especially with the bottom feeder rush or OTK decks. Every single game is determined by someone getting handed perfect hands. Then some mouth breather emotes like they did something despite the fact that they weren’t even a factor in the game and hides when you go to call them out.
Arena is even more of a joke. The games outcomes are literally predetermined the moment you “choose” your deck.

No kidding. I have a version of imbue/protoss mage that I play that has about a 75% win rate against it. I have other decks that can’t touch it. Once again, PLAYER AGENCY IS IRRELEVANT IN THIS GAME
So yeah, maybe hearthstone isn’t the game for me anymore. It sure was when it started out but then a couple years back everyone that was worth a damn left and we’re stuck here with a crew of flunkies running the show

There’s one imbue deck in the current meta: imbue druid. And it is bad.
Yes, the current meta has a lot of problems, but it is just not connected with priest.
You can play all day and encounter zero priests between 1 and ±3000 of legend, and notice that ±3000 is not high at all. Also you’ll meet zero imbue mages. Some imbue decks will be driuds or very rare experiments.
So you think that 10% make the difference between ranks where priest is OP, ranks where priest exists and ranks where priest is unplayable.
Smart to hide when they know they’re gonna get called out for being an NPC who had the game played for them? And yeah, goes for me too. Many games I get perfect draws, and it is the single biggest factor. If someone tries to call it out, I always accept, and acknowledge that we are both just playing a slot machine anyway.
