Please rework Warkock Questline, Mage Questline and Priest Questline
Blizzard you are killing your own game!
why rework priest questline? seems like its one of the slower and weaker ones, which is what the community from my experience is wanting, quests that are pretty good but not game breaking. I will agree with you on the mage and warlock quest though, seems they dont know what to do with them as of yet
If anything the priest quest line could use a buff. Of course, that “buff” should be a slower meta without a rampant opposing deck that can empty itself and then kill you by draw 2+ cards per turn, thus negating the ability to run any deck which plans to win past turn 6.
hunter is pretty strong too.
Priest questline and broken do not belong in the same sentence. They have to get to turn ten, minimum before they can win and their tools to control the board are very bad. Their board clears cost a lot of mana for very little damage. If you are going to play a bunch of 1/1s sure, you are going to get punished but any smart progressive board strategy will beat questline priest 100% of the time. The other combo decks you mentioned, Warlock and Mage, also destroy priest.
they are probably strong in another meta, not this one. that said, i dont mind opening up one in pack to keep for future. It destroys control decks if allowed to get to turn 10.
The version I’ve been using only has one spell: Thrive in the Shadows. Guaranteed Tutoring. I may slot Soul Mirror in. And one renew. It’s good to be able to almost guarantee victory the turn after you play Xyrella.
I’ve seen some people running a version with only one Desperate Measures and Alura. I’m not a fan of that because now you need to draw two combo pieces to complete the same turn as Xyrella. Though it’s definitely better when it works.
The most popular version on HSReplay actually has a win rate over 50%. I don’t have the rank breakdowns though, so it could be much worse. Regardless, a large percentage of it’s wins probably doesn’t have anything to do 10 mana spell that wins them the game.
The quest by itself is good draw for priest. You’re typically wanting to play on curve so being able to keep that ball rolling is nice.
Priest the worst one…lol…noob…change it for shaman
game died a long time ago. hate to break it to ya.
The problem isn’t really how hard it is to pull off the priest quest reward, basically the quest is “if you curve well and stay alive until you draw the quest reward, you win the game”. Sure, its weak if you compare to all the other crap killing you on turn 4, let alone the non-games when you are faced against certain classes (warlock for instance) but this quest reeks of lazy development and as much as I like playing priest, I do hope this quest never gets playable, let alone popular, in any meta whatsoever. It’s another solitaire deck, the slowest one at it.
Totally agree. Another Questline where the opponent can’t block at all and garantee a win for the priest when it completes.
I thought Exodia mage with infinite fireball was broken way back when but it really was nothing compared to the stupidities this lazy expansion brought in…
i agree seams like all you get put against is locks or mage hevent won a hand in three day i am deleting battle net quit warcraft now this take care all im going to another game
Have you faced the Quest bluff Warlock yet? People going face thinking they are going to take advantage of their health reductions only to be surrounded by 4 8/8 minions with wind fury. The deck Im Currently running that I modified has 75% win rate over my last 30 games vs the 58% win rate using the standard quest lock deck.
Quests decks are for brainless players.
