The Creatures cannot be targeted by

Spell Effects and Hero powers needs to be buffed.

The fact that a minion supposedly immune to spells can still be AoE Frozen, and AoE Burned down, means all it really gained was a crappy holo foil art doesn’t it?

Doesn’t feel like its very protected vs magic.

But My Dude it says targetted by, those target the board or other minions.

Okay sure, then give me some sort of AoE Defense that blocks two spells, and make it a card type that EVERY class gets not just mage and rogue.

Yes, the board or other minions, not the minion that’s immune and thus can’t be targetted.

The short answer is that’s just how it works, and always has been. But if you want an analogy, imagine the effect makes the minion invisible. You can’t aim an arrow at something invisible, so you can’t “target” it exactly. But if you unleash a giant ice storm across the entire area even the invisible minions are going to be hit by it. The whole “can’t be targeted” effect is less about protection and more about line of sight.

Targeting immunity not protecting against aoe is an aspect of every ccg that has both those things (so basically every ccg). There’s no issue here, nothing to fix.

Counterspell, okami. Slot them both in if you play mage.
