Terran is garbage

Zerg is op, protoss is good with mana cheat colossi etc. Where is the value in terran? Is it weak or am i just bad at it? Playing terran shaman at diamond 5 (climbed as mech rogue and plague dk btw). Should i continue playing my old decks? I play terran just for the special quest and because i liked terran in sc2.

I hate to be the guy that talks about skill (all card games are luck based and the only skill needed is not throwing away valuable cards) but i think ive realized this forums has got some stuff mixed up. Could u be playing it wrong in any way? Old deck? Unoptimized? Not enough dust for even one card? It matters

In another thread someone said most people here in the forum aren’t legend and barely not diamond which i cant believe but if its true then the discussion has to be focused on each skill/rank bracket.

In my bracket rank 100-200 legend terran ANYTHING, warrior, shaman, and yes even mech paladin is the smoking gun. People here say warrior is gutter tier meanwhile its the only thing i have a 100% loss to? Shaman terran? Inexcusably good. Paladin takes some Piloting but its far from average its great.

Terran is op

I played Terran Shaman over the last days and I climbed from Diamond 8 to Diamond 3 with it despite the Zerg decks.

Terran is strong but you have to pay attention to the starship pieces, the board, the remaining cards in the deck and your opponent.

The other 2 factions have the advantage that they can and should play their hero card as soon as possible. With the Terrans it’s the other way around. You have to remember your starships and the content of your starships and then choose the right moment when to bring them back.

In the beginning I tried Terran Shaman in Unranked and I lost alot of games but after a while you get a feeling for the deck and the synergies.

The current problem is that the Zerg cards (Infestor) need to be nerfed because they are to strong. I win some games against Zerg Death Knights but I lose most of them.

Maybe in Shaman and Warrior… but not in Paladin… Terran Paladin is useless… failed design again… that is the problem with multi class design… it is hard to make it work for all… maybe thats why they shouldn’t do it…

Terran Shaman is literally one of the best decks in the game right now

I faced a terran warrior that went infinite, they just kept using fizzle and gained hundreds of armor, had multiple starship with great stats

Warrior is the best way for terrans

Shaman has a clear edge from what I’m seeing, and that involves treating it like a control deck and abusing Fizzle snapshots.

Maybe it was just some lucky highroll, but there’s enough battlecry tutor support to get both Raynor and a Shuddermini in the package, then start duplicating and target drawing the package with Triangulate.

It doesn’t take many pieces to get a triple launch that clears the board and does huge face damage with lots of armor gain. Even just the two missile turrets makes it 6 damage to everything, liberators just make it stronger. And then does it again, every turn that it draws a snapshot. Which there are a lot of, even without full infinite combo with Zola.

Don’t have a decklist, as it’s been my opponents that I’ve been seeing with it.

Terran is the strongest of the 3 factions right now. Warrior and shaman are broken. The infinite value they generate by going infinite with fizzle and playing Jim Raynor half a dozen times is beyond stupid. And shaman is oppressively hard to get under because its early game board presence is even stronger than paladin’s right now. OP is clearly in bronze ranks to low tier diamond, because terran is absolutely busted. It makes zerk DK look wimpy in comparison.

Those are the best decks usually, from my experience

The harder it is to pick up, the stronger it is as you become good at it

Yeah, this is what I was doing DAY 1.

Fizzle when Raynor and Triangulate are in your hand (to the far left of it)
Play Triangulate to get the Fizzle copies.
Infinite Raynor each turn + Triangulate. I know some people are using Ceaseless, but IMO that’s not needed because your Raynor should be board clearing for you.

Bonus points if you get the mini shudder in there as well.

You are wrong but you are entitled to your wrong opinion. Zerg is actually the worst of the three factions in all honesty.

Zerg touches the soul of most forum users, because most of them are diamond or lower, and the low ranks tend to have low quality piloting on slow decks but the skill requirement for fast decks is lower so fast decks is what will usually kill them.

There are some exceptions, e.g. a simplistic control warrior is very popular in low ranks.

Maybe after the first rounds of nerfs they will be, but right now the staying power of zerg and and damage from hand from Protoss is far more egregious than Terran’s mechanics.

The projection here is wild.

Terran are op but only for shaman, terran paladin and warrior are trash.

As far as I see, Terran Paladin is useless… it has nothing benefit from the Ultra-Capacitor because it is hard to keep a board and it’s starship building is too slow, not to mention Hellion or Crusader Aura. Maybe after the rotation and some nerfs it will be better… but now it seems weak because it is board based and it seems impossible to keep a board for it.

That copium about infinite resources is just incredibly funny. You can immediately understand who has never played fizzle in his life.

The narcissism here hits red. I may be rank Chicken 10. Why did that trigger you to be a bully?

Imagine thinking that Terran is garbage when the reality is that it’s the best performing faction of the three. If you look at actual stats instead you’ll find the following:

Diamond through legend

Rank Deck Winrate
1 Handbuff Hunter 57.6
2 Dungar Druid 57.4
3 Terran Shaman 57.1
4 Hero Power Druid 55.8
5 Weapon Rogue 55.4
6 Infinite Terran Shaman 54.0
7 Zerg Frost DK 53.9
8 Zerg Hunter 53.4
9 Location Warlock 53.2
10 Zerg Rainbow DK 53.0
11 Terran Warrior 52.9

Legend

Rank Deck Winrate
1 Handbuff Hunter 56.9
2 Dungar Druid 55.7
3 Terran Shaman 55.1
4 Weapon Rogue 55.0
5 Hero Power Druid 54.0
6 Infinite Terran Shaman 53.3
7 Zerg Frost DK 53.2
8 Zerg Hunter 52.7
9 Location Warlock 52.3
10 Zerg Rainbow DK 52.0
11 Terran Warrior 51.7

Top 1k

Rank Deck Winrate
1 Infinite Terran Shaman 55.1
2 Zarimi Priest 54.5
3 Handbuff Hunter 54.3
4 Weapon Rogue 53.9
5 Terran Shaman 53.8
6 Dungar Druid 53.2
7 Location Warlock 52.7
8 Discover Hunter 52.3
9 Zerg Frost DK 52.0
10 Zerg Hunter 51.9
11 Zerg Rainbow DK 51.5

Since the upcoming patch probably will obliterate Weapon Rogue and Dungar Druid we can just bow down to the Terran overlords. Also noticed another terrible Asuba take but this time on Protoss instead of the “need for fatigue” nonsense. Archon Rogue / Protoss Mage / Protoss Priest are 39-47% winrate decks depending on bracket. Heropower druid is an “exception” but that deck gets is power pretty much solely from the herocard alongside the old buffcards.

With Terran Warrior lingering just outside top 10 in every bracket except Top 1k Terran is by far the best faction.

Bro, what parallel dimension are those stats from?

Haven’t seen a single Zarimi priest on EU in top 1k nor on stream in even higher ranks

Who’s playing Zarimi priest? Does that deck even run Zarimi? I’ve seen other priests, but not this.
