Switch to marvel snap

I actually like Marvel Snaps better than Hearthstone because feels like true ccg, not this flip-of-the-dice trash Blizzard made. But it feels like their actual strategy for how you play with each card because designed really well and thought out.

Iā€™ve been meaning to check out other CG because, well, we all know what hearthstone has become, roughly 1-2 days of fun followed by weeks of waiting for the devs to fix a game-critical bug and/or applying balance fixes to egregious misbalance (such as right now with paladin.)

The thing Iā€™ve heard about marvel snap is it has incredibly predatory pricing. At least F2P is viable in hearthstone, but apparently not so with snap. As such snap is at the end of the list of other CG I want to try.

what is this "switch " you talk about seems to me both games can be played at the same time

While that is true, I think itā€™s a good rule of thumb to only focus on one ā€˜free to playā€™ game at a time. They tend to consume a lot of time and effort.

Same goes with Gacha games. If you really want to play those exploitative pieces of manipulative garbage then one at a time is best, otherwise you spend hours of your day just doing dailies.

Mental health 101.

Or money lol.

But yeah Iā€™ve also heard Marvel Snap is good, curious to try it

See you in a few months.

Marvel snap gets boring really fast.

Whales tend to exaggerate that since if you want a full collection fast itā€™s going to cost you a lot, but you can easily go f2p and have a decent collection in a couple of months. I play it a few minutes a day since october and Iā€™m only missing a few new cards and two of the 4 ā€œbig baddiesā€, having spent around $12 in that period. Plus they said that theyā€™re reworking the card acquisition so I really think itā€™s worth a shot at least. Not the best game ever made but it has its charm.

Iā€™ve had my fill of the Marvel Universe over the past decade. No thank you.

This. Do a couple daily quests, then log off, eventually you dont care about the rewards and you stop logging in entirely.

I play entirely different types of games instead of playing the same type of game as HS. I play Deep Rock Galactic, some Zelda on my switch, some Pizza Tower P rank attemptsā€¦

Or I just go outside and touch grass. Literally anything except another card game.

If I go to another game it will be Path of exile 2.

I have not played the game myself but the platform doesnā€™t seem comparable to Hearthstone.

You may find a lot of people that hate Blizzard here, but hating Blizzard doesnā€™t mean thereā€™s a better game in this category to choose from. I am waiting for a one to appear so I can ditch HS altogether, but years have passed. Most of the time, they lose due to an inferior platform (and artwork, but thatā€™s a personal opinion).

Problem with snap is its shallow and has a very poor monetization model. I mean you play through it in days or a couple of wreeks. Theres no depth. Very grindy for no payoffs.

Also the whole 6 turn thing is very meh. Sure you can fire off a couple of games on the toilet but the game just doesnt have any longtern hook.

give it about three weeks and you will be bored. Itā€™s not very deep, tbh. I tried it out and havenā€™t opened the app for a couple of months after playing every day for a couple weeks.

No, I donā€™t think I will

Congrats, you were able to experience everything the game had to offer.

You couldnā€™t be more right.
They should just rename the game: ā€œEleven shades of bustedā€

Only switch to snap if your Wallet can handle it. You are going to get nowhere in that game as a FTP.

ā€¦that game has absolutely nothing to offer if you pay money. Nothing. Not. A. Thing.

So does Hearthstone have nothing to offer ether it a dying game blizzard milking at the moment? Every one of the new cards is a reprint of an old card just more broken than the last nothing original anymore.

I wouldnā€™t say nothing new but yes they are going to retread more often being such an older game. MTG has the exact same issues and it still continues despite looking nothing like the game it started out as today.
