I had to uninstall and reinstall to get this game to work.
I get to “Im new” or “Sign In” and press “Sign In” and it brings me back to
TOUCH TO START and the error repeats.

Moderator could spend time more wisely by getting the concerns of the forum goers forwarded or get an official blue statement for us.
In the meantime I did this.
I couldn’t connect.
Got frustrated and uninstalled/reinstalled (shouldn’t have to but W/E Blizz)
Tried logging in, kept ignoring my login attempt and sending me back to Touch To Start and error kept repeateing.
Important: I was trying to use my autofill to log in. So I manually typed it in.
It worked. BECAUSE. I have the authenticator hooked up and I think that was the issue. Because when I manually typed in the info the authentication message popped up. Now I’m in the game.
