yep i dont bother with it at all. i just ignore that quest entirely. If you play battlegrounds or normal you will gain alot. i am pretty much half way trough it and i only did 1 quest last week. the marine there is still there and i cant be bothered to actively go for it.
There are simply way too few cards to do this quest. and you cant multiply them like you can do with zergs
Did you notice marines count as 3X? The paladin deck seems cool (it summons even more marines than others), though I’m unsure if it’s good for Standard (I mainly do quests in Wild for the lols).
By simple division, 3X turns the 100 to a 33.3… only.
yeah but you can only get 2 spells as a paladin wich actually summons marines. 2 of them to be precise. So even if marines count x3 it still takes ages if you can only summon 4 of them in a single match. And thats not counting the game ending before you can draw the spell wich summons marines.
I have been actively trying to do the 200 marines quest today and yeah its taking multiple hours just to summon 200 terrans even with marines in the mix.
There should have been more marine cards or the quest should have been way less in numbers
This quest is not fun, especially if you are forced to play a deck/hero you dont even like to play. poor game design to the max
i feel like they just copy pasted the zerg quest and called it a day. Even tho the zerg can summon and create extra copies of other zerg wich count wich terrans absolutely can not do
not everyone can get all the cards they need by luck or spending to buy decks/sets.
I had to build 2 locations (that MIGHT summon a starship piece that will summon 2) and 2 lift off cards to even have a chance. Many games later it’s still not done.
I just finished it earlier, and the only reason i managed to finish it relatively more quick than you was because i used the deck in casual and managed to find someone to stomp and keep alive just so i could use raynor and then spam my hero power 15 turns in a row without killing the guy.
But yeah if you play normally and dont find yourself a target dummy that doesnt surrender when losing that hard it just takes ages to complete. turning the game into a chore instead of a fun sidequest you could try to do
I don’t know what gold management has to do with buying a mini-set. I thought it was only purchased with cash money, or runestones which also cost money. Was that changed?
9 months doesn’t seem very new to me, but to anyone playing many years and with many forum posts must think that is new-born
they claimed more cards in set so it was more i have a feeling next one will return to the 2k price unless they decide to go bigger for more money lets face it thats super likely
