So while i applaud the person who originally thought up of this, and while I’m also of the opinion that wild is a place where cards shouldn’t be touched this is way too powerful to remain un-nerfed. They need to nerf the velen, leader of the exile + saronite chain gang. Basically what this does is each time you kill vellen he immediately re summons himself making it impossible to attack the opponent unless your deck carries silences which i don’t think a ton of decks do these days.

if this is a common thing, just add a silence to your deck. Or a steal or shuffle effect. if it’s not common don’t bother with those.
Infinite loops probably shouldn’t exist but this one has multiple options of counterplay.

I face it a lot but i dont think i should HAVE to put an entire mechanic ive went a long time without using just to counter an overlooked mechanic. I think they should just nerf it. Its p much guaranteed wins if you dont face someone with a silence. Im all for fun broken mechanics but an infinite loop that basically makes you win unless you play 1 specific thing should never be okay imo.

The current Devs pretend it was intentional because that’s how Battlecries work under the hood (i.e. Deathrattles work as you’d expect (on the old minion) but Battlecries work always from the current hand (and therefore as if Velen had the original battlecry itself)).
I don’t believe them. They obviously forgot Battlecry works that way at the 2013 code still in use.
They never add such convoluted counter-intuitive things in the code intentionally,

If you’re refusing to use one of the many silence/steal/transform effects to counter something that you lose to a lot (according to you), then that’s on you honestly. And those effects have uses in all matchups so they’re not as specific as you make it sound.
His deck counters yours, it happens all the time. You can either adapt to it or not I guess.
All you have to do is use Linecracker and BEEEEES!!! Combo to gain 4000 armor and wait for them to die to fatigue since you also use D2w Process and Jaden Idol
