So... all my collection is dead now I suppose?

I stood around 6 years as a F2P to farm the full collection of priest class + half of warlock just to get in UiS now and watch how 90% of those legendaries got from “decent and worthy of theorizing” or “good in meta” to “total trash meme tier” in just a month.
Out of 38 priest legendaries, only 3(!!!) are not a meme tier: Illucia(that they put “on the list of future nerfs”), Disciplinarian Gandling(that is arguable how much it will survive the meta, some already preffer the new Kazakus over him) and Darkbishop Benedictus(the only safe craft I suppose?). Oh and Serena, she’s not really meta but it is a cool stats tool to try that isn’t really bad, at least I had some fun with it.
So 4 out of 38!!! That’s 10,5% of all the legendaries that I crafted that was not a waste.
So I suppose I’ll thank the new “win in turn 6” combos and solitaire overlords! I just seen 34 of my legendaries(54 400 dust) go to trash meme under just a month, and I didn’t even consider the neutrals that I crafted through the time to support them and the epics/rares.
And yes, they are a waste now, cause it seems the devs are ok with how the game works right now especially in wild, the only nerf we needed was a “from 9 to 10” and another nerf to an already banned card.

As i suggested in my mage thread which is fiasco too, since only legendary u need is quest. They should fully refund all legendaries from mage and from any control class. If they decided for fast meta to boost their sales on mobiles, then ok but give me my dust back.

why did you craft it? It was never considered good, not even before the expansion dropped.

I also craft legendaries just for the sake of having them and because I think they are cool, but I don’t expect them to be playable.
I mean, I crafted tda undatakah! And also Leoroxx!

Be happy for what you have crafted: it is better to use dust for fun instead of keeping it for no reasons.
I have around 10K dust now, I would like to have some cool legendaries to try out (probably tasmin or genn will be my next purchase), but at the moment there aren’t many that interest me.

this…doesn’t make any sense… like, at all.
Refund are meant to help you in unfair situations, not to help you crafting the next meta deck after you spent dust on your previous meta deck (or, sostitute meta with fun)

My dust come from prepurchasing megabundles, next expansion they just forget about people buying it because all legendaries are useless. I wouldnt mind if one or two legendaries become obsolete. BUT THIS IS ENTIRE COLLECTION!!!

When your whole collection is from one class, you should expect to have an useless collection the moment that class is no longer relevant

Collection for one class, i have almost all top decks for all classes. But this is about principle. Instead of improving game, they scam people and now again, new mode that nobody asked for.

It’s not a scam day one it was clear they’d nerf what they nerfed. If you craft an OP or hated deck expect a nerf. Shouldn’t come as any surprise all CCGs either nerf (digital) or ban and not a single one refunds all cards in a deck for a couple of nerfs.

Every legendary since ashes of outlands is useless for mage. Same for priest. How is that not scam?

Because the legendary seemed promising, it can generate huge board value very early in an agressive deck that can sustain such a card. It wasn’t great before but we eventually got to that point, Disciplinarian Gandling is a decent or at least interesting addition to Shadow Priest.
But anyway, considering that I got to an economical HS pasive sustain that let me buy all legendaries I want every expansion(which includes all warlock/priest legendaries and some neutrals), I bought Gandling just because it was in my preffered classes and I had the money for it.

I agree, the idea is how can I have fun with them if I can’t reach to the moment I play the card anymore in 90% of matches? Lyra was a bad card for today’s Hearthstone, but it was fun to use—>I could add it in my decks without hurting my winrate too much. Now it’s suicide to add it because I’m dead in turn 6, there’s no way in the world where I get to a Lyra turn.
The cards are fun but I can’t have fun with them if I never manage to reach the moment where I can play them.

I will NEVER shard my golden Nameless One and shove him into every single priest deck until I die.

The idea is that I feel cheated. Even if I get my dust back, it’s pointless to use it again on cards for decks that I don’t want to play. I don’t want to waste my dust on warlock/mage quest, I find them uninteresting. I kept all the legendaries I farmed in the past 6 years and I moved to wild intentionally to be able to play them in decks of old.
Stealing that joy from me is unfair as a long time player and no dust in the world will make me happy. I just want Hearthstone back as it was some months ago before instant powercreep that anulated their relevance in a single second.

Waa I want to be OP again!

Paladins best Legendary in standard arguably is a Murloc that is mostly used as a slightly worse Minibot

Shoving all the legendaries in all my decks wasn’t the point.
The idea was that 34 legendaries went from “interesing/decent/strong” to “meme/trash” after a single expansion.

Yes cause not wanting your whole collection to be dead is equal to wanting to be overpowered top dog tier 0. Makes sense.

Your “whole collection” is a f2p Priest-only ‘collection’. Stop complaining.

yes, the devs are very misled when it comes to wild nerfs/bans especially.

i have a full golden raza priest deck and i simply cannot play it, very sad.

I don’t understand your point. So I should be ready for 8 years of designing process of a class to go to non-existence trash meme tier after a single expansion and “I should not complain”?
Ok I get it, one day all is good and pink and the next day all you worked for is dead in a second and you should not complain cause random dude t0rn on forums feels it like a good idea cause having a non-dead collection is equal to being OP it seems.

You’re playing Wild. It comes with the territory.

All formats rotate and/or evolve eventually. It was bound to happen one day, adapt or expand your collection. It’s the same with any card game, sooking just makes you a sore loser. If you’ve spent no money, you’ve got nothing to complain about. If you did, you should understand the risk and sunk cost for the hobby. Sure vote with your comments and feet, but yoir particular corner case deserves no sympathy. Grow up
