Skip Battlegrounds Animations

Title says it all - just add it already, Blizzard.

I’ve actually gotten screwed trying to play out the clock as much as possible doing all the things I can, and have lost golden reward selections, lost out on spell craft cards, not been able to play minions because of animations, and floated gold. This is something the community has asked for for years, and because of the designers and animators ego’s, we’ll never see it. Only way they listen is through their wallets. So, if you want them to listen, stop paying and stop playing. They’ll figure it out, or the game will die and it won’t be a concern anymore.

I 100% am on your side of this. The animations need to be optional, not mandatory.

I 100% agree with the OP. Animations are killing this mode and the fun. Having 30 seconds or less in the shop because a teammate or opponent is playing undead/pirate with Rivendare is insane.

Devs, you must fix this! I’ve complained about other things in the past and you have done nothing. This has to happen or this game mode will die!

Give us a way to skip the animations!

Then they should be fired, plain and simple. Listen, if I am not doing my job, I will be fired. The same should go for the devs…

I gotta give it to the devs. They fixed this issue. Thanks!

Not really. They sped up the combat animations. Which is a good start, but its not what the community was asking for in earnest.

They wanted the animations during the turns to go away. Say you are playing quilboar, and you are playing cards that put blood gems on other cards. You have to wait for all those animations to go off, generally before you can interact with anything else on the board. Some of the animations (not quilboar specifically) can take multiple seconds. That’s multiple potential plays that could have been made, that could have impacted the outcome of the game.

Until the animations are gone from playing cards, it’s going to continue to be an issue.

The devs are doing their job. Their job isn’t to do what the players say, its to do what the managers say. And nowhere (except maybe Community Managers) does any part of Blizzard have to listen to the players. And just because any part of Blizzard is listening, doesn’t mean they have to do what the players want.
