I bet he also designed Reno and always a bigger jormungar.
Hes like ,hey these player like building big boards why don’t we make cards that punish that. make those board builders hurt and think twice when putting minions on the board.
Completely forgetting about when you play a card game ,the CORE is playing cards .
Punishing that is the worst design they could come up with and they do it anyway.
