Despite being dressed up all fancy for the next expac, Kindred isn’t anything new. I was describing it to someone earlier as the Elemental tribe effect and then he asked me if they were going to retroactively change those cards printed with it to Kindred.
Personally, I am of the opinion that more keywords are good, since you can just hover over a card to know what the keyword does. Saves text space and all that. On the other hand, I know not all people agree with that, and feel too many keywords make the game cluttered unnecessarily. Not to mention that there are plenty of cards with “the Elemental effect” that wouldn’t work with Kindred, any spell for instance.
So, should Kindred go evergreen? Should they even bother with printing it on older cards?
