Here are the Claws, which have each have a Deathrattle to produce a Claw weapon for the Rogue:

So, with the main card, you get two 4/1 Rush minions and a 4/1 weapon you can use that turn, plus a second 2/1 (or 4/1 if Crabatoa survives) weapon that you can use the next turn.

Looks pretty strong as a potential finisher, or even a board swing. Just lacks the eating murlock part.

Seems pretty sweet. Getting free weapons is nice.

Both the weapon and the minion will get +2? The text doesnt make it clear. It seems that only the weapon will get +2 attck

Shadowstep it.

I’m not sure. Looking closer at the text, it might just be the weapons. I initially read it as “your claws have…”.

It’s hard to predict if this will be played by Rogues, yes it’s a very strong card in a vacuum, but it all depends if it fits with what Rogues want to do, 6 mana is high enough cost that it might not be worh running.

Still I reckon it will see play, you get so much removal and potential face damage from 1 card, removing 2x X/4 minions (or 1 X/8 minion) plus getting to swing for 4 and still have a 2/1 weapon at the end of your turn while also putting a threatening minion on the board is a lot of action for 6 mana!

Depending on how it works, it’s 6 mana to either deal 4 or 2 damage to 2 minions but you can select the same minion twice, deal 4 damage to any enemy (though with counterdamage if it’s vs a minion), and get a 2/1 weapon that is potentially still a 4/1 next turn (obviously, you attack with 1 Claw minion, attack with the Claw weapon, THEN attack with the second Claw minion). On top of all that you still have a 6/5 body as well.

At just 6 mana, this will certainly see play.

we actually yet have to see if we can shadowstep anything this year.

Might bring back tempo rouge. Idk though.

It’s been confirmed, both the minion and the weapon versions of the Claws get the buff:

NOICE!!! yayayayayay

The question is in what type of deck you would play this.

It doesn’t work with any existing obviously, but even for “new” decks:

Doesn’t fit in a deathrattle deck.
High cost makes it difficult for a miracle deck.
Pirates? Just for a 2/1 weapon seems like a very flimsy synergy.

Overall, I’d say 2/5:
A strong standalone card that doesn’t seem able to synergise with anything.
So, a “fair” card.

There’s a chance of being playable similar to how Jandice was used in more board centric miracle decks, but obviously this has much less synergy compared to jandice (bouncing this just gives some 2/1s,not worth it at all)

Well, with that settled, I do believe this card will be extremely powerful and see play in most Rogue decks at launch.

First i was like mehhh now i thinkk its ok yeah ok lets try it

Considering how good the DH hero card is, I think this card can see play in any form of tempo rogue, even quest.

This card is way stronger than people are giving credit.
It’s 6 mana 6/5 body, deal 8 damage to a minion or 4 damage to 2 minions and get a 4 damage weapon to use now and a 4 or 2 damage weapon to use next turn.

This is massive value.

This is a 5 star card that sees play in nearly every rogue deck.

sorry the 8 dmg to a minion where does that come from ?

the rushers are basically 4/1s on the first turn due to the crab aura.

so you get 2 4/1 rushers.

Still wouldnt call this an “autoinclude to all rogue decks” by any stretch, but it might find a home in a tempo deck if such a deck can exist in the new set.
