Atleast this time we don’t have to wait for the mage doomposting.
The cards really suck. They are almost entirely for elemental mage and aren’t that good either.
With that said supernova will probably find a place in some deck.
It is probably their new strategy to release mage cards that suck on purpose and buff they on the fly. Just look on the number of mage cards from festival of legends that got some form of buff.
3 mana draw 3 on a 3/1 body isn’t bad at all, guess mage doomposting is back lmao
Solar Flare is absolutely crazy, like a better variation of Heat Wave (one of mages’ best cards) good.
Seeing some of the fire spells, Blasteroid isn’t really that bad.
No clue how good draenei synergy is gonna be but Fire Elemental Mage is gonna be a very good tempo deck

u sure about that? At face value, I actually hated those cards because they seem good. I hated this set’s faceroll snoozefest elemental decks with a passion, and those cards look like could give elemental mage a much needed reach. I have only seen the stuff superficially tho and I haven’t played standard in a while, so could be wrong here.

Sorry but we literally have better in witchwood with 2 mana draw 3 under similar restriction and is a very old card so even under comparison a player should expect the new one to be stronger and not just equal.
Solar flare is their try on forcing elementals decks to not be one dimensional, it is bad because for something to make stuff like this happen it has to be reactive and the condition not let you be reactive.
Blasteroid is just your old rng fiesta better just play my own cards.

Fair warning, dunno how lenient they will be with this discussion this time around, since the cat is way out of the bag and roaming all over the place; but I think leaking or directly discussing specific leaks is against ToS, so I’d be cautious when discussing specific cards leaked.
I predict even VS will just make an early article of all cards. It’s too big on reddit to contain. It will just be accepted probably.

There is literally 2/3 cards similar to this.
atleast 2 are on standard and see 0 play.
I’m not saying I’m sure that it’s intentional, but people should at least suspect that it might be
Perils wasn’t leaked this way.
I don’t think this benefits them at all from a marketing perspective, since you want people to be engaged with your announcements over a month to be hyped enough to spend more money on pre-release stuff. Releasing everything at once kills that momentum. Besides, the leak comes from someone accidentally releasing the .6 patch with the next set in the library. They shut down the game entirely for a few minutes almost immediately to fix it. Just looks like someone simply screwed up and uploaded the wrong thing to the live servers.
Edit: Games have a lot of different developer versions and these kind of screw-ups happen frequently. Just recently I played Satisfactory’s full release and they uploaded the wrong version of the .exe file when releasing the game to steam. Such a funny mistake because you literally couldn’t play the game unless you went to the files and deleted the wrong bit on the executable’s name. More likely than not, it’s just a human mistake.
Not gonna lie. This leak is really something to suspect about it being intentional or not.

If those cards are indeed the expansion cards its nice to see some tribal support (especially demons)…but we’re probably a miniset away from ‘cards cost (1)’ just straight up.
