Booted up the Battle net app, pressed play for Hearthstone, it starts up normally but soon closes with a message saying “Closed! Hearthstone has been updated! Please download the latest version.” I check the options, press “check for updates” get a message saying its up to date and press play again. I get the same “Closed!” message. This never happened before with any previous expansion update, just wondering is this happening to others as well?
(Edit: Just got the patch update as of April 10th, so its back to normal.)

When I literally just downloaded the latest version of Hearthstone, on the latest version of iPadOS. (And deleted and re-installed, repeatedly.) There’s nothing that’s not current.
There’s no reason for the problem, except Hearthstone itself. My internet connection is fine (fiber!). My software is up-to-date. I can log into Blizzard[.]net via web browser, and even the Battle[.]net mobile app. But the Hearthstone mobile app refuses to do anything other that show that one damn “Closed” screen, whether I try to log into my account, or try to play anonymously.
