it says resets next expansion but idk when the next expansion is coming.

or is it more a season or monthly thing?

Expansions usually last 4 months before the next one drops.
Current expansion arrived in july so you can expect it to end late october/mid november

the store says the pass will be available until nov 5

I always check the pass in the store via the launcher and not within game. sucks for mobile players i guess as theres even more steps to find that info out. But honestly it should just be included as a tooltip or hardcoded to display the expiration on it regardless.
