I don’t play the battlegrounds and wonder how it aligns with the rewards track. When playing battlegrounds do you move up in the reward track as well. If not does it seem like there should be two tracks? As one who buys the track I wish there were more hero skins and not so many bg skins. If the track moves up for bgs I totally understand though.

Battlegrounds, like most game modes, gives experience. However, not all quests can be completable in Battgrounds.
Also note, there are few to no Battleground-related rewards on the Rewards Track.
EDIT: Looks like they’ve changed things up for this expansion’s Reward Track. Oops. 
Once you get past level 65 there are no more hearthstone rewards until you hit 100. I’ve added it up, there are 7 Battleground heros you can earn and 7 Hearthstones so its tied up but it makes no sense if the track is played on Hearthstone.

The experience boost that the track gives also gives experience from Battlegrounds. They Battle Pass is for all hearthstone game modes, so any lodes you play give XP for the pass.

I’m not sure in what universe that half the reward track counts as
but that’s some funny math. But leave it to those who act as spokespersons or promoters for the company to post outright lies in their defense of it.
And that’s before you get to the mercstone crap. They need to just make the rewards equal across all the track: one real hearthstone, one bg, and one mercstone. Light knows they can afford to be generous, considering how much they have not not made good on over the years.
