The power level of this card is insanely, severely, thoughtlessly and stupidly out of proportion.
The person whom gave the “go ahead” for this card should be banned from working in the game industry for life.

Tickatus demands proof that you have the tickets necessary to enjoy all the pleasures of the faire. If you can’t pay the fee, then out you go.

Yea the card design is really really stupid. It is odd that Warlock always get the discard your oponets deck. Sure it goes with discard theme but giving 1 class the discard a deck is a bit cheeky.
Un-nerf Illidan imo (Well, Xavius i guess as they changed that card to Xavius)

Is this possible:
Draw Tickatus with Free Admission. Discover 2 Tickatus with Demonic Studies. Destroy 15 opponent cards on turn 7, 8 and 9. The opponent has 3 or less card remaining in the deck on turn 9.
If possible, then the competence of this design team is highly questionable.

Well I do it with Felosophy and sense demons - I have only 3 demons in deck (2jailers+tickatus) and I almost always keep jailers (or sense demons) in hand. No need to discover, just copy him (and give him +1/+1), it is more reliable than trying to discover.
And usually you dont need to play 3 - you play most of the games 1 or 2, because they dont have rush or taunt to help you win game, they are just big bodies for 6 mana. And usually not turn 6-8 (unless you control board), but at 9-10 mana with some other cards to swing the board (cascading disaster etc).
They should nerf stats, make it more difficult to play him, because now it is big body for 6 mana, but it doesnt do anything extra on that turn.

Seems like a fairly easy combo to pull off as well because in the past couple of hours I’ve encountered 3 Tickatus Warlocks and they all could destroy my deck very quickly. One of them even had 4 Tickatus which I am not sure how is that possible.

Tickatus is a 8/8 for 6 mana, and destroys 20% of the enemy deck.

… and to think that there are people that still believe they test their stuff before releasing. The only thing worse than people feeding them money for this garbage is this development team itself.

Why not nerve the evolve shaman ? or all other freaking aggro decks ? i stand no chance against face losers , like demon hunter , or any other aggro deck that knows only one plays style. FACE FACE FACE.
According to HS replay win rates, Tickatus lock isn’t shaping up to be that good tbh. The only class fairing worse than warlock currently is priest.

It’s because tickatus is more polarizing rather then effective. It’s like when they nerfed Astromancer Solarian when Mage didn’t even have a real deck. Sure let’s nerf the 2nd worse class in the game that should fix things! Tickatus has a good match up vs slow decks in a aggro meta so let’s nerf it. Lol

The game is unplayable at this stage. Unless I gone all out to spend $500 to make this god awful unbalanced Tickatus deck otherwise I might just as well concede everytime I see a Warlock.
All Warlock I played today had FOUR TICKATUS which were able to successfully burn 15 cards from my deck on turn 10.
Blizzard fix your mistake asap. Regain some respect and dignity for once.

Yea, an 8/8 that also burns 5 of your opponents cards is pretty ridiculous. Then with the new Y’saarj, or even easier just copied with Felosophy, they get to do it again.
Mil decks have never been fun to play against, but in the past they’ve been so niche and inconsistent that it wasn’t that big a deal. This thing, however, is game breaking.
The number of cards it burns needs to be nerfed to 3, at the most. It also shouldn’t count as a demon so it can’t be copied with Felosophy.

I played priest with mindrender illucia to counter them. It’s still 50/50 though. You play Illucia before they upgrade tickatus+hope he is in their hand. Then play tickatus to burn their own deck.
