Really tired of how fragile Hearthstone connectivity is

I’m having major connectivity issues. It would not be a problem if I were not spending money on the game.

Basically, whenever I have any sort of network interruption, the game crashes. Instead of reconnecting like I remember it doing in the past, it tells me to restart the application. More often than not, when I first close the application and restart it, it freezes at the initial loading screen. I never see the hearthstone logo and the symbol does not start glowing.

If it does make it through, I sometimes get met with the home menu that is greyed out and unselectable. The ‘modes’ button does not even show up.

I have a home mesh wi-fi system. Sometimes when I connect from one router to the other, that flight Network change causes the app to crash.

If I’m in a match and the wife says we need to go somewhere, I might as well just close the match out because as soon as I lose Wi-Fi, it replicates this.

If I’m on my way home, playing a match, it will disconnect when my phone reaches the Wi-Fi. I try to preemptively stop this by turning off my Wi-Fi but the phone sometimes turns it back on when it senses that it is available.

Sometimes I open up the game fresh with 5G and it doesn’t want to start and get stuck on the home screen.

Things that I’ve tried:
I’ve made sure my phone was up to date. I’ve tried clearing the cash of the app. I’ve reinstalled it multiple times. I’m on pixel 9 pro btw. I’ve tried different networks. I’ve tried using mobile data after disconnecting.

I’ve lost countless matches of arena and battleground because of this and it’s disheartening with the amount of money that I’ve spent.
