Everything else is way above 50% ranging upwards of 75%.
So what’s working for you against Ramp Druid? (specifically the Kazakusan build which is by far the most superior of all the Ramp Druid builds) And the linked build isn’t even the best build lol
I’m thinking about building a pure anti Ramp Druid deck since it is now 80% of my games.
Curse of Agony REEEE; but what are we talking here? Standard or Wild.
Nope, that’s actually not a sufficient enough counter believe it or not. By the time you agony with tamsin after they Kazakusan, they will be playing double treasures each turn and killing you within 2 turns. They won’t take enough damage from agony.
This is standard.

Nvm then. I’m doing it in Wild so that’s why.
Yeah, I can see it working there when you can shuffle in about 20-30. 12 in standard isn’t enough. They’ll win within 2 turns or 4 treasures.
I couldn’t really get Kazakusan priest to work in wild, but of the decks I did beat, it was actually people trying to play curse of agony decks, well I had like 3 cards in there that could remove the curses from my deck and most decks do have a fist full of ways to disrupt. I don’t have the cards to make a ramp druid work and I don’t think it’d be very good, if it was then people would most likely just run dirty rat. My take was that you needed so many cards in order to make sure you could draw and discount the kazakusan that actually the priest couldn’t really have another win condition and it straight out loses to aggro decks that win by turn 5, which is still like 40-50% of the meta.
Title is very misleading. Unless the premium version of HSReplay is showing drastically different information (or more focused information on the new version of ramp druid), the deck has many bad matchups once you look into decks and not just classes.

You don’t need premium to view the win rate of a specific deck. You can see its total win rate vs all classes and number of games. You can go through the list of Ramp Druid’s that are running the Kazakusan build and look for yourself.
I’m playing the deck now (different than linked version but same base build). I’m not having much issue with aggro as others believe. In fact, I just easily destroyed an aggro elemental shaman who had the god draw.
So far I’ve been doing better against Kazakusan druids than regular ramp. 4W-1L so far. I think it’s that they forego the old god spam and endless armour.
Mage.

I just meant that the deck likely has more bad matchups than just the Hunter class, which the title suggests.
I’ve been playing far more bg’s than standard this month so I’m only around gold rank, but I still haven’t run into a ramp druid post patch yet. I look forward to getting crushed by treasures at some point though.

But … but … according to some other prolific posters on here, ramp druid is merely “popular” and not a very good deck for winning games with.
I mean, I could be wrong. I don’t think it needs a nerf right now, we need the meta to adjust.
Specifically, we need to see Ramp Druid fine tuned and decks that are fine tuned also to see what happens when everything is settled. We’ll have to wait a week or two before we see those reports.
For all I know, Ramp Druid could just be a tier 3 deck and I’m just seeing tons of them that so happen to counter anything I’m playing. I’m willing to admit that’s possible. Thus, I’m asking others what’s working for them against Ramp Druid.

Aggro Druid with Troggs.
They’ll mulligan greedy for the mirror, then they auto lose when they can’t deal with your boards.
But in general, any decks that support Trogg.

This is pretty much my conclusion as well. You have to run Troggs and you have to be fast. But if you don’t draw those Troggs you’re going to be in trouble.
Is libram paladin with Troggs working?

I don’t play Paladin much. I would venture to guess it does well.
You don’t necessarily need the Troggs to go off. There’s very little defensive tools in that deck. They will get overwhelmed by any kind of early boards. This version doesn’t even run Lunar Eclipse.
I think this showcases how broken the Guff hero card is. 70% WR when drawn on the mulligan, for a 5-cost card. It’s definitely going to get a mana nerf (probably to 6, but possibly all the way to 7)

The version I play and the one that I’ve seen does use Lunar Eclipse. I don’t know why that version has a taunt. Perhaps that actually works.

curse of agony ?
ive been hard mulliganing and drawing like crazy for double altar of fire
losing 6 cards out of 10 seems to hurt them waaaay more than 12 fatigue damage cards

Yeah I’ve been trying that route as well. However, after the mini-set, Warlock is dead last. I know that sounds crazy, but that’s what HSReplay has. Perhaps it’s because of experimenting, I don’t know.
