When you redeem a rare or epic card in the battle pass that you already own, the game asks if you want to exchange it for another random card of the same rarity. My question is, I already have Thunderbringe and Sheriff Barrelbrim, as they were given free of charge. If I buy the battle pass, when I go to redeem the golden versions of these two cards, will the game let me exchange the normal versions for two random legendary ones or will I be forced to keep the golden and normal versions?

no because they are the free leggos from this set. the golds are just cosmetics. you only get rerolls for doubles. like i got a velarok windblade from my packs. so when i collected the diamond from the paid track i got to reroll for a free legend. we don’t get rerolls from the freebies though.
