I recently saw the blue post where the dev stated that they intend on changing the quest win condition instead of adding variety to reborn minion which boggles my mind because sure the quest is terriffic againt control once you get it started but the current set of reborn minions is so janky and unsynergistic
TLDR Heâs asking for more reborn minions and not more things to copy
They arenât chaning the win condition, it was just a wishy washy answer because he probably realized it was a bad design.
i dont get why the reward is so mech centric. Youd think youd be copying cool reborn minons which there arent except from the warrior one
Itâs not Mech centric by design. It just works very well with Deathrattle, of which the best to repeatedly trigger happen to be on mechs
Soooo were getting deathrattle paladin? Cool,another weird design choice because whats class identity and flavor,its not like reborn is already present in paladin in forms of secret and that spell that lets a minion come back with one hp
âWorks very well with Deathrattleâ does not mean âwas intended to be used with Deathrattleâ. Itâs pretty clear they wanted us to use it with Reborn.

I won my first game VS this deck today with my control deck (not warrior!) and man wasnât it fun. I was stressed out the whole way through the match. There shouldnât be any more support to this quest in a format that also provides the mech eggs/whelps and Kangorâs.

If they intended the quest to be used with reborn after completion thatâs some really short sighted design. There arenât enough reborn minions period, let alone ones you really want to pack in as a win condition.
Where did they say they were altering the paladin quest? I was thinking of craftng the paladin quest but i donât want to craft something thatâs about to be changed!.. im sick of control warriors and want to make their lives hell with the reborn deck!
Quest is already too easy to complete for a MASSIVE benefit. The benefit this quest gets is so much more than any other quest and it needs a nerf not more ways to complete.
Youâd have to read through the post they commented on.
They did not say they were changing the quest card, just that they intended for the deck to evolve based on having additional powerful minions to copy instead of by expanding the reborn pool

Just seems they intend to add other cards in future expansions that work well with the quests hero power.

Youâre right, it is so easy to complete that I am âthisâ close to dusting it altogether because I feel bad after winning so much using it that I donât think it is fair.
Like yesterday I played some games and I immediately climbed from Rank 15 to Rank 15.
This Quest deck is, like any other deck, reliant on the kindness of the meta.
The greedy version of this deck will cease to be as viable, as aggro will become more prominent.
It is also unrefined and you severely overrate the validity of your bias.

Not sure if its been said already but what they meant by that is that there will be other good deathrattle minions (the win condition) worth copying once egg and dino rotate. Paladin can get a long way by coppying the reborn mimions already.
The fact that, being mechs, the 2/2s canât be easily wiped by âLight the fuses!â doesnât hurt eitherâŚ
Add on top of that the ability to further enhance your tokens with magnetised minions and the ability to reload the board with Endless Army, and you get why the quest works so well with the mech package.
