People don’t want to watch the other person play solitaire which forces that person to also play solitaire .
The company does not seem to listen to Hearthstone players, but rather the data from other gacha games to determine what they do here.
From the NASDAQ article on Activision-Blizzards quarterly reports:
"One of the biggest bright spots this quarter came from Activision’s mobile-focused studio, King Games. The maker of Candy Crush saw its revenue increase 22% year over year and delivered a remarkable 46% operating margin. Driven by stellar growth, particularly in its advertising business, King accounted for 41% of Activision Blizzard’s total operating income.
Management at the company even mentioned it’s trying to leverage King’s data-driven approach to marketing and to apply it across the company’s other titles."
If this is to be believed, then this is a bad sign of where all Activision-Blizzard titles are heading.

Got sick and tired of quest mage. Made a deathrattle hunter deck. Every time they kill a minion another takes it place so they need twice the spells to kill them. It doesn’t get me to legend as I lose to other decks, but beating them 3 out of 4 games it’s worth it.
