I totally understand the nature of trading card games now. It is very much RNG based, but damn this card is infuriating. I see no reason to actually implement this into the game bar giving the RNG lovers of this game ( aka the casuals ) a “cool” card to toy with. I was just wondering if anyone else is feeling like the game is taking a RNG route instead of an actual strategical trading card game.
For those who don’t know of the card I speak of, it is a 10 mana card named puzzle box of yogg-saron.
Dragonific-
Puzzle box of Yogg-Saron is 10 mana.

For the most part I’m always getting screwed up when playing that card, the same applies to the reno hero passive power, so there’s that. It’s supposed to be a last resort card when you have nothing else to do, so I guess it’s working as intended - gonna finish you off or save your butt.

i play the quest but without rush to complete it
and do it after reno that way if can change my hero power if i want to
You think Puzzle Box is bad? I remember the days of Dead Man’s Hand Fatigue Warrior. Infinite Yoggs. Crazy to play as and against. Not to mention Solarian Prime, which guarantees value.
Jokes aside, I think RNG mechanics like Puzzle Box and the Reno hero power add some fun moments and flavour to the game. What about the “summon a minion of (x) cost” cards? There was, and still is, a meme mage deck entirely based of random generation cards, and I must say, it’s good fun.
Personally, as someone who’s played Yogg decks in the past (you can tell by my profile picture that I love him) and has had plenty of good and bad RNG moments, It’s hard to be mad at someone turning a game around with Spell RNG like Puzzle Box, because I know my opponent is laughing their butt off on the other end.

Yes, i entirely agree. At the end of the day it’s all about having fun and enjoying your play time, with the rough times we are in i think that fact is more apparent than ever.
