Priest is too strong, nerf priest, convincing infiltrator is too strong

Priest. Just like the whole class in general. Everything about it the fact that it has a good early game, one of the best mid games, and the best late game deck. Not to mention it’s the only class with info cards on what deck your opponent is playing so you know if there aggro, control, or OTK so you can play accordingly(something in my opinion rogue should have instead). But if your to ask me what the founding issues are about my perceived frustrations the three major cards are Activate the Obelisk when combined with sandhoof water bearer completes the quest way too fast there should be a nerf to the quest and maybe a touch-up on water bearer. But the biggest problem card is convincing infiltrator. The fact that priests theme is reoccurring minions, and healing them is fine and dandy, but it’s when mixed with grave rune or reborn and every time it dies it kills an enemy minion at random, but then it comes back to life again is very broken. It is way too overpowered. Especially when you move spellbreaker the most popular card that could deal with it if you were lucky enough to draw it. Because most people put one copy in their deck specifically for shenanigans like that and it got value elsewhere. The fact that priest can cheat this card out so easily is unfunny and game breaking, it’s gotten to the point that every single priest deck is running the exact same strategy ruins the entire class. It’s gotten to a point of where I cue for a game and concede if it’s priest because I don’t want to piss myself off by getting them to four health foreight consecutiveturns before the are back at max health in under two full turns with at least two convincing infiltrators on their board. On top of that you’ve nerfed every other deck that had a chance of competing with priest it’s time to put your foot down listen to your player base it’s not fun anymore and it’s up to you to fix it we can only complain so much until we leave the game completely.

Also I noticed a minute detail in the animation when immolation aura is combo’d with mo’arg artificer the animation kinda goes wild it’s a little fun but idk if you know about it yet.
I am sorry to everyone reading my frustrations. I hope you can help me spread my message in that priest has been in the meta for too long without any nerfs whatsoever to it and only receiving inadvertent changes that reinforces its dominate play style in the game.
I hope you stay safe and healthy during these tough times
Sincerely SilverNight

Yeah. In low meta apparently. That if we talk about data, numbers, metas, match report and that kinda sh!t.

But im sure you talk about taste.

You dont like it. You just dont. I cant change that. Its like my friend dave, he dont like green tea and I dont like raisin. Weird taste, too earthly, the water got dirt, or something like that he said. I mean, raisin taste like this strange of sudden change of flavor in the cake. Man, raisin is so weird.

No one should make changes to other people based on his own preference. But yet you want to make huge change and forcing your taste and preference.

Lol. HoF says otherwise.

priest is a Tier 2/3 Deck… Its just boring and annoying to play against thats all.

if this how you react after losing to a tier 3 - 4 decks

losing to the tier 1-2 ones will have you screaming your lungs out

That’s what many people do in HS. Look at the cries for nerfs for DH, mage, and of course priests. Sadly, I’m guilty of some of it as well.

Thing is, Blizz actually reacts to the cries. So they will continue to come.

Agree.

Unfortunately, Blizz does react to it.

Its like that time. Ungoro meta. Every class seems got representation on meta. But people hate middle tier quest rogue.

Blizz slam the hammer and then druid nuke the meta.

I agree with you it is a totally retarted noob class. Many op cards like mass silence, too many resurrection and to strong healing abilities. It is just retarted but nvm. This game is to have fun and luckbased, if you look for a skillgame go for a Shooter like cs, where everybody has the same conditions. Also It seems balance is not the strenght of Blizzard as we saw on the retarted dh. Even though he is way more easY than nearly unbeatable priest

Nerfing infiltrator to unplayability is a good idea.

Hail to the night.

I do agree that priest is very annoying but to say it’s brainless is a stretch. You should try playing it just for the hell of it maybe a few matches and you’ll see that it’s actually kinda fun obviously not for the opponent and you do have to think quite a bit, and no I don’t main priest i used to main roque but now I just play every class for fun I don’t take this game that seriously anymore. If you really wanna make priest cry just play murloc paladin should be gg by turn 6-7 fun deck btw

Wall of text, stopped reading at “Priest is known for good early game”

Having an issue and thinking certain deck is too strong?

Play the deck itself and you will find out it’s weakness.

I’m going to agree that if you think that Priest is ‘known’ for a good early game… please show me how!? They make a game go LONG and are only good in mid stretch… if you go long with a priest deck… good luck. I run one, and there is nothing good about the short game and I have ONE save in case it goes long.
It’s my 2 pennies at least.

What type of Priest deck do you run?

It’s my own mix… but essentially its a Midrange Gala-Priest, with a few res cards in it. It’s good for most matches, but once I’m about half way through Diamond, it’s done. I have to switch to a warrior or mage deck. DH, and for that matter Murloc Paladin, are problem decks for a Gala-Priest. And I see a lot of those in the Diamond range. Do you have a Priest deck that you like in the Diamond range?

I just got to D10 yesterday, so I can’t really comment on the Diamond meta. I made it with a pretty standard Galakrond Priest list, but you are correct that it struggles against aggro. I’ve been thinking about swapping the Fate Weavers for something else, but I haven’t really played since hitting D10.

If you’re interested, you can see more discussion on Galakrond Priest decks on this topic.
