Cards that copy, should only copy from the opponents CLASS, not their deck or hand.
First, when playing Priest your opponent is going to put the best cards from their class and neutral in their deck so the odds of getting an outstanding card is high, and when playing against something like a Galakrond deck it’s downright game breaking.
Playing Rogue my Priest opponent played 2 different Galakronds, Waxdread (over and over), and 3 Gronks (Shadowstep + Extra Gronk)… That’s BS.
Second, when cards are copied from hand or deck they are getting the buffs that are already there.
Playing Druid I had embiggen down twice and the priest plays a 10/12 Winged Guardian… so they copied not only winged Guardian but the two buffs it had!
Priest copy spells need to look more like Rogue ones, copy CLASS cards not hand or deck, the ability to clone your opponents deck and still play your own is just to powerful.
Totally agree. It is ridiculous that they can copy your best cards. Just saw a HS Grandmasters game where the Priest copied the Rogue’s Galakrond invoked and managed to beat him with it.

Agreed. The mechanics should be changed - buffed in some way. Right now, it is way too inconsistent and unreliable. From time to time, it helps, most of the time it’s garbage. No wonder priest decks are tier 3 at best.
Priest is solely built around annoying the crap out of your opponent and by winning in the most unsportsmanlike fashion… when they design cards for priest they literally sit down and think what could be an annoying way for priest to piss off their opponent… I know let’s make a minion that can’t be targeted by spells apart from your spells with lifesteal and a ton of attack and then you can duplicate it and it heals you up to full completely making everything That your opponent work for 10 turns of damage complete and utterly invalid…
Despite it not being tier 1 that should never happen…
Obviously, you never played against a discard deck. True, the mechanic isn’t in HS (yet), but it’s way more annoying than anything you describe. So be careful what you “wish” for.
My biggest gripe with priest is actually with priests galakrond. Getting random priest minions which generate random stuff gives them a ridiculous level of gas in the tank. random lazuls, mindflayers and murazond infinite etc makes priest completely out value everything if the game goes long. I understand if you prefer playing control but if you face priest as some form of control you must know the game is already lost. O and veilweaver randomly wins games its like a 2 mana Lyra Sunshard which sometimes goes off firing removal at your opponent. Imagine if radiant elemental was around.
Priests Galakrond generating the 4 mentioned minions into more random stuff to me just feels horrible. I would actually like to see some combo decks again just to punish these kind of decks. You just can’t play around so much randomly generated stuff you just kind push forward with your game plan and hope they don’t have an answer.

Wonder what would happen if I made a “I just won a game.” post? Would the forum posters revolt in response? Probably. Probably turn into a hijacked hate filled thread.
Finally let priests to show their real identity and make them steal cards not only from table but also from the opponent’s deck. Mind Control is fine but not enough, Mind Vision also should move the card from your hand to mine.
… are nothing compared to “random” Dragonqueens from rogue Galakrond dragon lackeys. If you are going to complain, please, complain about the actual probems
I know you are probably joking, but I’d really like to see that. Perhaps as a fun brawl. We had all portal brawl, all shifter brawl, all hypno brawl, all steal brawl could be fun. Or “fun”.
There was a brawl where every turn you stole a minion from your opponent’s deck and put it on the board. It certainly made for some interesting deck building.
