Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket

Has anyone been playing this? It’s a lot of fun even as a F2P. Sure it’s simple and it has some issues but it just came out like 2 weeks ago, it seems like it will only get better over time.

Why bother? There’s a free version.

Huh? The free version is the one I’m talking about. It just came out, you can find it at the top of the play store chart

Why pay for cards, when theres a free version

Once again, I am talking about the free version that just came out…

In which you must pay for access to all of the cards, which is pointless when a free version already exists

Again, I think you are confused and must be talking about something else. Idk what else to tell you, you’re talking about or thinking about the wrong game.

Im thinking about a free to play pokemon game that gives you EVERYTHING FOR FREE all of the cards in existence are free to use

That’s the game I’m talking about. It’s like Hearthstone, it’s all free unless you want to spend money for some reason. I’ve been playing it for 2 weeks now and almost have a full collection as a F2P, it’s a lot of fun

The game i am talking about gives you a full collection right away, there is no opening packs, no crafting, you just get access to everything immediately

Awesome…does the game have a name?

Do you have a name for this game you are talking about where it’s all free and complete? Does it have 30 million people playing it and battle matchmaking like Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket?

i like the yugioh version, the custom cards are fun to make

I’m just trying to figure out what game they were talking about

No idea because even the OTHER TCG game, last I played, still required you to open packs and cross your fingers on getting a collection. For all we know, they might be talking about some obscure Chinese ripoff which isn’t sanctioned by Nintendo or The Pokemon Company (obviously).

There is no full-access, every single card given as soon as you start playing, Pokemon TCG/CCG that I have ever heard of prior to this supposed one they are referencing. However, they may also be trying to blow smoke up your butt so take it with a grain of salt.

Thank you…yes I think maybe they were just trolling me since they disappeared. Oh well. Still, the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket is really fun and accessible!

this sounds like a pokemon version of duel linkz when compared to tcg live

Internet searching, says “Pokémon Trading Card Game Live (TCG Live)”, I haven’t confirmed it.

I’ve been playing for about a week now and I’m just disappointed since if you don’t play hyper-specific cards/strategies, you just get bowled over too much. I am not one of those people who kept wiping their account data to re-create until they got the initial burst of cards they wanted so I’m just extremely tired.

The only way I’ve won my non-PvE event games (probably close to 600 PvP matches total in the emblem event, when you only need 45 wins to get the top prize) is by my opponent bricking on their opening hand and first couple turns.

I think this is pretty untrue. Maybe you just aren’t a master yet since it’s only been a week? Which is understandable. I’ve won plenty with all sorts of off brand and “bad” decks, even tri-color weirdness. Like Hearthstone, a lot is also coin flip based, which means even if you suck, you still have a chance.

Oh okay interesting, thanks. Apparently it has around 30k active players and is based on the actual TCG rules and not the streamlined version with beautiful art that just came out that I’m talking about.

And it has terrible reviews, I wonder if they didn’t mean that game.
