Please Let me Abandon Event Quests

Have been stuck with the duels quest since the rewards track update. Before the update I had rerolled it because I have zero interest in ever playing that mode.

At first it was fine, Was playing daily keeping up with dailies and the single event quest only took up the extra 4th slot, since dailies capped at 3(or so I was told).

Haven’t had as much free time and I log on today to see that I have a new event quest taking up another daily quest spot, and I only have 2 dailies to do instead of 3.

So I’m down a daily, which feels bad as I bought the premium track update for the bonus XP(and the skins obviously, but the xp was also an incentive as someone who can’t play that much).

Why are these event quests permanently taking up daily quest slots? Please give the player the option to abandon them.

They shouldn’t be. Legendary quests are their own fourth slot now.

The new event chain that only requires you to “play” a game can be completed by insta-conceding in that game mode.
The earlier duel quest you have to actually win so it can be a challenge but you can also find lists that won 12 wins here:

Maybe pick one you have all the cards for and try it out. The rewards are pretty nice after all.

Isn’t there a way to crush the quest? Spend 5 minutes setting up a duel deck and concede 3 times?

Isn’t that what everyone would do all the time?

Yeah if it wasn’t a “win two duels” quest.

And this post didn’t take long at all.

  1. Play 1 game of Battlegrounds.
  2. Play 5 games of Duels.
  3. Play 5 Ranked Standard games.

There was nothing to ‘win’ only to play. Can easily be done by insta-concede.

Reading comp 101. This was from the PREVIOUS event chain. Where you had to win two duels.

Let me clear this up for people who seem to be missing the point.

I have two event quest chains at the moment.

While only 1 event quest chain takes up the fourth slot that’s an extra slot the second actually takes up one of the 3 daily quest slots.

So Event quests Are not given their own Quest slots, which is a huge oversight.

I had abandoned the first quest back before the update, WHEN YOU WERE ABLE TO.

After the update it came back and you can no longer get rid of it.

They removed a feature in the update. Which at first was fine because it was taking up that extra slot, then boom, another even quest pops up. And now i’m down a slot.

I have zero interest in playing duels, especially to the point where i have to win two games.

I spend money to play standard, and the daily quests help take the sting out of that. Now i’m down a daily quest because they want me to play a mode that i have no interest in, and i have no option to abandon it.

When I log in once every three days i expect to be able to do 3 dailies. Is that really that much to ask for? Why are people so butthurt that i want an abandon quest option, that was PREVIOUSLY in the game?

So to the reasonable devs out there, please let use abandon these quests again. I know extra slots for quests is too much to ask for, any change like that is major. But come on, a little X button in place of the reroll button please?

i had one event quest taking up one of the daily quests slots
but as soon as i completed it the game gave me the daily quest
so try completing it maybe youll get that daily quest right away too

i think there are classes in duels you can build a good agro deck to win
the first game

try winning the first one retiring and starting a new one that way itll be faster
