No one is going to go into details? Like, the set came out yesterday. Don’t act like “oMg…U sHoUlD kNoW tHis nOOb!”

Of course they don’t. Hell, the devs don’t even play their own game, if they did, they’d be banning players by the 10s daily for cheating.

Anyone exploiting the bug should have their accounts permanently banned.

They got there mini set money there all on vacation rippin lines and harassing employees.

There is a process the public relations team needs to go through in order to push a patch live, and it’s far more involved than uploading the latest version to the server and flipping a switch. Hearthstone exists on multiple platforms and we’re talking about a new version update so this is more than something they can simply address on their backend. They need to update the client as well.

I would recommend that if it bothers you that much (and understandably so, I cannot fault you for that. It is very frustrating) just to take a day or two break from the game and wait for the fix. It’s what I’m doing. I’m not happy with the game state either, so I’m just going to find other ways to occupy my time in the meanwhile. It’s really not the end of the world like some people are making it out to be to go play a different game or watch some youtube for a few days.

Also you cannot prove someone is actively abusing the bug unless they say on stream they are aware of it (even if it should feel obvious if the shaman population explodes like it is). The in game text for the cards is unchanged and the update notes merely specified the devs were aware of a calculation issue. They never detailed the specifics. So player punishment is a bad PR move. They made a mistake. They admitted it, and they are in the process of fixing it. This one’s on them though. They definitely screwed up. But it’s important to understand the devs are human too and acknowledge that with some semblence of respect and understand what goes on on their end to correct it.

Supposedly the buggy cards were either fixed or banned for that tournament.

Why haven’t you people figured this out yet? WE are the beta testers. They release sh!t, we tell them what sucks about it, then they go through the motions of fixing them without play testing the changes, and the cycle begins again.

It was unbalanced at 1 spell damage. 2 spell damage just brought it up to par with all the other stupid things other classes can do.
